HONOLULU, Feb 15, 2008 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Sprint (NYSE:S) customers in Hawaii can now enjoy the benefits of SprintSpeed(TM) from even more places in the state. During 2007, Sprint added 25 new cell sites throughout Hawaii and 10 of these sites were added on the Big Island. Additionally, Sprint enhanced coverage for customers statewide by upgrading many existing cell sites to carry both iDEN and CDMA technology.. Yes, Sprint Nextel is very popular in Hawaii and I definitely would not compare the Big Island with Alaska.
