I believe that now with the nationwide plans that pix/flix DO use kbs and you are charged the data. (at least from what I learned in training on the new plans)

Verizon does not do SIM? The only phones you will find sim on are the global phones. Which there are currently two... but the lg 9900 (EnV) would be a good choice like Lapdog stated.

Mott- you received a $50 ne2 and make sure your actually getting the $50 mail in rebate. Because they might just have let you do an early upgrade. or an "annual" which means you get the phone at the promotional price which is 299.99. Say for me for instance if I am eligable for my ne2 than I would get the phone at 199.99 because I have a 100 ne2 credit.

PhoneZoo is free. I have also had the problems lately with not receiving the ringtones from the site. When I first did it I had no problem getting my first few and now It seems like I never get them.

What do you mean? So its already showing for you at the $99 price, plus in june you will be up for your $100 off? Makin it free? Normally the prices you see (the discounted price) end up being made public?

It was on Testman when I saw it thursday. Sometimes they only keep it up for a day or so. I havent seen it up there again. Who knows. But that was the same thing as the txt msging plans? The new unlimited ones were only up for a day.

Well honestly, it always seems to be different. Sometimes I use 99999 and it works, sometimes it doesnt. Also sometimes the zip code for my area works. Only thing is certain phones dont come up, such as the 9400 and the U640. But I used my zip code on the testman and thats where I saw this.

Ya I know I called, I have 30 days and I just got the phone. So if its on testman Im assuming itll be dropped soon. If not Ill play it safe and return it next week and just get it when it does come to that price.

Thanks! I just got my EnV a week ago! And was Ne2, so when this price changes I am takin mine back and rebuying it. Ill get it free! Instead of paying the $100.

Has anyone heard anything about this? Iv heard about a possible $100 price drop on the phone! Plus its on the test man site as that!! Does anyone have any idea why this might be? If an upgraded one is going to be coming out already or what?

Yup well basically what the vzw agent said is what I have also heard to be true. For those of you who doubt this or didnt even know about it..im not sure exactly why because I work at an indirect agent and I know a couple weeks ago we had to get rid of some old material and we received the worry free guarentee flyer as well to post in our stores, which is a bit different and includes ...

I think verizon is great with customer service. Its one of the main reasons I have stayed with them and have gotten family & friends to switch to verizon. They have always been helpful and have never given me a hard time with giving me any kind of credits.

Actually with verizon if your on the right rate plan you can upgrade every yr or 12months. People on $59.99 price plans or higher are allowed early upgrades. They can upgrade after a yr with the new subcriber prices, and than the next yr get there new everytwo. this is different than the merit program which allows customers on 79.99 or higher price plans to upgrade as well after 13months.

Yeah we just received ours too..I as well have some mixed feelings on the phone. I mean it has some plus's over the 9800 but also the 9800 has some better plus's. The new 9900 is definetly more wide, and I am not a fan of how it opens since it does fall below the key pad. I like the screen better on the 9800 because the screen doesnt fall it stands up nice in straight. I also like ...

Re: samsung sch-a930 or lg 8600?
Nov 11, 2006, 1:57 PM

Id say go for the Lg8600. It will be the newest and latest phone. Personally I think the Sam 930 is a good phone but it does have some cons to it. Including the outside display..there really is none. Signal wise both would be great. So I would do it by what matters most to you feature wise and the look wise.

I highly doubt it will retail at 399.99 with a two yr contract. The sam9900 is about that price in SLOWLY going down but that phone will still cost more than the lg 9900. Im sure the 9900 will retail with a two yr contract around 299.99, than will go down in a month or so. Itll take over the 9800 and probably be priced around that one.

Re: Return of Kyocera to Verizon?
Oct 27, 2006, 3:40 PM

a Kyocera would be one of the worst ways to go... they are horrible phones. My store was going to actually even bring back one of the old ones and they than decided not to because of how many problems people have with them and waaayy to much goes wrong with them. Try an LG. Those are awesome phones. I had a motorola at one time, hated it always had bad service with it. Than I switched to an lg ...

If you guys are planning on doing a pretty fair amount of traveling like you stated, I would definetly go with Verizon, they do have the largest coverage area and most towers. Check out coverages maps for both though and compare them and also compare them to the places you think you wil be going.

Hmm I love LG phones, Iv had many other phones and they all basically sucked. I moved to Lg and my first one was the 4400 and than i had the 6100 and now the 8100, and soon going to upgrade to even a newer one. Iv neverr had any problems with these phones and love LG. Its what I recommend to all of my customers and we never have returns on the Lgs. In the Lgs even give ...

50 a day is a lot silly :) So id say your gonna get more than a cramp here and there- and you will find urself backspacing or going back to fix things on the keys..they are pretty small.

Yeah I guess that could make it better... Im just not one to wanna have to lock my phone or have it go into lock. I hate that on other phones when I go to use em.. But it is all about personal preferences than.

Its not about learning though with the touch buttons.. I thought that too when I played with it the first time, that it would be really hard to learn..but the other day I picked it up again and its not bad to learn at all..but im a quick learner..
