looking for a phone with the best bang for the buck. preferably less bucks.

Hi all,

I just switched to Verizon yesterday (T-mobile's reception was awful in my area), and picked up a Samsung u540. However I'm not totally happy with parts of it.

1. The very limited and crappy ringtone selection. I can live with most other things but if I have to hear the same crappy ring all the time....I know there are obviously ways to overcome this but I really don't want to pay more.
2. Inability to transfer files through Bluetooth. File Transfer would of course take preference over ringtones, since then, you might as well transfer ringtones.
3. Fragile feel, flat keypad, flashy touch buttons on top and how it turns the outer screen off until you open it again. I want a phone that feels like a phone, and that I can check t...

LG9900 (enV) $100 after rebate. Great handset.

Hey, thanks for the reply. Sounds pretty awesome, but the odd design is throwing me off a bit, it seems little big (okay, first thought was "brick know I wouldn't want to try the 9800 then), and the full keyboard is sort of unnecessary. I'll see if I can try it out though, thanks!

Verizon does not do SIM? The only phones you will find sim on are the global phones. Which there are currently two...

but the lg 9900 (EnV) would be a good choice like Lapdog stated.
