Re: Safely Remove Hardware???
I have the same issue and went through the same steps. I have come to the conclusion that it is hot swappable and needs no intervention, just unplug and your good. Be sure all transfers have stopped first of coarse :)
Re: ZN5 Extra Capacity Battery
just how much thicker is the BX80? Inside the battery door is a plastic spacer that I have been eyeballing for the same reason.
Re: ok
It goes pretty dam fast. I have used several Motos in the past and this one sends even on EDGE system really fast. I'm sure data compression plays a big part of it. I really like my ZN5. I passed my rokr over to the wife (she really likes it) for the ZN5. I was kinda worried about it my self but no worries. I don't even see to need to use the WI-Fi to seed stuff over the ...
about the video
was snooping around on rims web site and found some info:
Only videos loaded on to the BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8220 smartphone using Roxio Media Manager can be viewed in widescreen. All other videos will be displayed in portrait mode.
Re: completely unacceptable!
In another state on another hwy I had the same type of problem. I found that some times the way you hold your phone (internal antenna) has a definite affect, and even times witch side of my head (window or not) I held it. I solved my problem by using an ear bud and sat the phone on the dash area for better signal and less interference from my head and the car body. With new laws going in ...
Re: cancelled.....
So is Moto going to make changes so it will pass or are they just going to let it die? I was holding out for this one... I am a big moto fan but with all the stuff they have going on inside I think I will let the dust settle and see how they turn out. Could you imagine a "Motokia" or a "Nokirola" My K1 its getting a little worn. I have tried to decide on updating ...

Yes in the "Ring Styles" menu shift down to the "Detail" menu and down at or near the bottom of the list is "Key Volume".

Two of the phones that T mobile has lined up for it are the Samsung SGH-T709 and the Nokia 6136 witch use UMA for the Wi-Fi. The downside on both phones is they loose bluetooth but I'm sure newer phones will work around this issue.
nulocking
Unlocking the sim on a phone opens it to work with other carriers sims but does it unlock anything else? How can the programs that the carriers block or lockout be opened up?
Re: Phone doesnot ring when connected using bluetooth headset
When you have bluetooth on the phone is only able to use basic ring tones. It should revert to a standard tone like "classic". Try putting the ringtone to a simple basic ringer and see if it helps. I know it works this way with my older Motorolas.
Re: Please someone help me with MMS
If you are with tmobile you can call them (611) and let them know what phone you are using and if they can send an OTA (over the air) data flash to the phone. It is a packet with the settings for your phone. A friend had switch from cingular and had the same issue and this cleared up the problem.
Re: Motorola v360 question
Its just the amount of on board memory that the phone has that limits this. You can't change this with any flash or software fix.
Re: just got phone on cinguar, few questions
daydeal.com has adapters that will help you out

Re: v195 v. v360
I love my V195! Yes it is a plan Jane and I do miss having a cam but the phone itself is LOUD and clear. The speaker-phone does ok for itself. And then the battery life... still trying to get a good reading on that and the signal reception it fantastic. This phone does every thing it should and pretty good. The keys are good (better than the v360 imo) and light up well when needed. It can charge ...
Re: Problems with Cingular!!!
Has anyone just called cingular and ask them to do an OTA (over the air) flash to update the phone/sim card? I know T Mobile does this... switched a cingular phone over to t-mobile this way.
Re: battery life
depending on your signal strength, if it is low the phone will have to work harder ... more power, to sustain that signal and if you use your bluetooth it will have an effect as well.
Class 1 Bluetooth
I seen that the V195 is classified as class 1 bluetooth not class 2. can any one verify this?
