Oh coooool!!
Can't wait to try them!
Thanks, man!
Re: "Satisfaction Guaranteed or Money-Back."
Yeah, but is this a promotional offer that will expire in X number of days or weeks or months?
I definitely want to get in on this offer! My current plan w/ Tmo expires in May, so I'm hoping that this will be available then.
Anybody know?
Re: Simple Fix
No freekin way are they gonna make people take their LXs back. Not gonna happen!
People might be able to bring the LX back b/c they just gotta have a Slide...but T-mo will not ask people to bring it back
Re: if motorola made a car
It's the same as if Harley made an airplane. Would you hop into a Harley small aircraft?
Slide is booted from T-Mo site
This morning T-Mo removed the Sidekick slide from their stores and i'net site b/c of the shutting off problem that Moto is experiencing. Read:
http://www.engadgetmobile.com/2007/1 1/16/t-mobile-suspends-sidekick-slide-sales/
So I showed this to my girlfriend who was just about to buy a sidekick slide for her daughter for a Christmas present (boy, what timing huh?). So she called T-Mo and spoke to inside sales and low and behold they found out that it was pulled and offered a A MUCH BETTER DEAL on ...
Re: please someone
If you're paying your bill on time and have been a customer for (I think) 90 days or longer, you can request an unlock code from Tmo. They will send a code - with instructions - by text message.
Good luck
Re: Vibrate
Go to:
Profiles / Silent / Customize / scroll down to Vibrating Alert / Change / select ON
That'll do it. Also be sure to select a ring tone (even tho it won't ring) so the phone has a tone to vibrate to.
Re: Free Ringtones???
Free ringtones, themes and wall paper. Very nice selection too!

Yes, yes and no
Re: DATA KIT?

Works great!! USB cable drivers included in the Samsung PC Studio software. Very cooool!
Re: Pause symbol for telephone numbers
As you are entering the phone number - when you get to the spot where you need to enter a pause or a wait - start pressing the * key. It will scroll from + to w to p symbols. "p" is pause by the way.
This is the same for any Nokia with the S40 OS.
Re: Nokia 6133
No.
Re: Coverage In Marietta
Coverage is great! Never had a problem.
Re: Reception
From my experience with this handset I'd say the RF is incredibly strong! It holds signals down to 1 bar with not problem. Probably the best reception phone I've ever had.
Blows away any moto I've had or used (at least from my experience).
BTW - the battery time on this thing is killer!!! I charge the thing roughly once / week! If I'm using a lot It's every 4 - 5 days! And I keep it turned on ...
Re: T-Mobile phone won't auto update time for DST...
That's what he said! The dates will change to make the DST period longer.
Right now it's the first Sunday in April to the last Sunday in October
Starting in 2007, it will be observed from the second Sunday in March to the first Sunday in November. This will add about a month to daylight saving time.
Re: T-Mobile.com (text msgs)
On your cell phone dial:
#674# There will be a message telling you the number of messages that you've sent, rec'd and are remaining (if you have messages as part of your plan)
Re: The Wizards of Customer Care
That wasn't my point. Of course I've always had very good (if not EXCEPTIONAL) support from CC. They are the first place that I go.
My point is that your post made it sound like there is absolutely no good reason for anyone to deal with a re-seller. Just stick with the corp stores and you will be much better off!!
Re: The Wizards of Customer Care
In other words:
We really should only deal with corp stores and call CC when the corp store guys can't help. OK - call CC as our first choice - then only go to corp stores b/c they are more "free" and much more knowledgeable to help out a customer with a problem.
Thanks for clearing that up!

Re: need speakerphone assistance!
Not sure - but the manual points to both holes and labels them speakers.
Re: Nokia 6103
Get back to school kid!
Re: Nokia 6103
I'd like to pick one up for the BT. I really like my 6101 - but wish it had BT and a LOT more memory!!
Because of the memory issue, I should hold off until the 6125 and/or the 6136 are out. Both are very slick Quad band phones with 8x zoom on the camera, MicroSD memory expansion, BT, WiFi, FM radio - in a very cool flip phone housing WITH NO an antenna stub!!!!
Re: T-Mobile Service is BAD....NO, ITS HORRIBLE!
Just get ready to get clobbered in court when Tmo tells the judge that they have a 14 day trial period where you never lodged a complaint!
Re: using voice recorder for ring tone
Get the Voice recorder up. Select record - record something - whatever u want. Stop recording and then go to Menu / Gallery / Recordings. You'll see the new recording there. Press Options / Set as ringtone. Done!!
I'd suggest that you rename the recording first so that you don't get confused about where or what it is. Menu / Gallery / Recordings / Options / Rename.
Re: Infrared (IrDa) vs data cable
Wish I could tell you. Some people have purchased Ebay (type) cables and they worked w/o a hitch! BUT many people have gone that route and were ripped off.
Believe me, if I could get a cable that I knew for sure would work for $7 - $8 vs $50, I'd be the first guy in line!!
Re: Infrared (IrDa) vs data cable
Don't buy the cable. At least not from that seller!! The cables are tricky with the chip set that is embedded in the plug. A non-Nokia knock-off won't have the orig mfg chip! That will be a big problem!!!! Buy the cable from Nokia for $50. The cheap-o knock-off cables might and/or night not work! Many posts about this problem here and on other forums.
The IR route is pretty straight forward. It should work just fine. The Nokia ...
Re: moto v360 memory card

Re: T-Mobile's Responce to the RIM (Blackberry) case!
A bigger issue (if not the biggest) is that the US gov't have TONS of users that depend and rely on this service every day including homeland security! They were one of the parties threatening to step in and settle this matter for NTP / RIMM if they didn't get this out of the way pronto!
Re: Any easier way to activate speakerphone?
BTW - if you have difficulties hearing a regular phone call thru the ear piece, just turn on speaker phone and hold it close to you ear. Just be careful not to get too close 'cause it can be pretty loud that close to your ear!!
The speaker is actually on the top edge of the handset right next to the antenna stub (two little rectangular holes). Anyone right around you can hear the conversation too, but it does ...
Re: New Phone?
You might want to wait to see if Tmo gets the Nokia 6103. They're supposed to have it "soon" - but you know how that goes!
Great little handset! I have the 6101 and love it. I'd like to get the 6103 b/c of bluetooth.

Re: Any easier way to activate speakerphone?
No "fiddling" needed. Make the call then press the soft key in the upper right - no need to go thru a menu to get to it. That turns on the speaker phone. Press it again will turn it off. Just a hint; when you activate it the phone beeps so that you know it's on.

Re: T-Mobile and AMP'd rumor....
Doubt it. Hard enough getting turn overs from CDMA providers - but entice them into a completely different network? Doubt it.
Re: Firefox extension to check your tmobile minutes used
You should first go to your T-Mobile acct using Firefox and log in. Be sure to select the "Remember me" check box. Your info will now be used by the extension to display your minutes.
Re: Firefox extension to check your tmobile minutes used
Very cool find!! It works great for me!! Gotta love Mozilla!
Thanks man!
Re: shutter sound on camera.
I have no idea. To check your version enter this:
*#0000#
mine is version 3.35
Re: where is Nokia???
Probably. I mean, the 6103 and 6102i are not a "brand spankin' new" item, just the next gen up. Still very interested in them tho!
Re: where is Nokia???
Yeah - they showed the new 6103 w/ BT at CES!! Where's the comments about it?
