its called a "DKU-2" cable, its usb 1.1 speed and the BEST place to buy it is to go to any OLD att wireless store (NOT KIOSK) that has been converted to a new cingular store, in there they will have a clearance area where you should find a white box with the DKU-2 cable, its really cheap compared to anywhere else you can find it

There are two ways to do this... the super easy way and the long way. The super easy way: Put the .aac or .mp3 files in the ROOT DIRECTORY of the memory card, DO NOT put them in any folders... then open your music player and it will recognize them... If you do want to put them in folders, then you have to do the long way...here it is step by step: 1--- create one or several folders anywhere in the mmc memory, ...

i have all three seasons on dvd... i use 3 programs to convert it to 3gp, i do it one chapter at a time... it divides it into 5 parts that are about 3-5 min a piece so i don't have to fast forward incase someone calls.

sorry to tell you that there is no ff/rewind.... with my family guy episodes... i divided them up by chapter... they are anywhere from 3-6 min. a piece... try that

you have to buy it separately..... if you stop by your old att store/kiosk, they might still have a headset for $15, thats where i picked mine up, they usually retail for $35+.... the model number is HDS-3

that is correct.... it only supports .3gp try downloading nokia multimedia converter 2.0... its free from nokia.com

yes, i have done it with several episodes of family guy... it plays .3gp video(quicktime), the video quality is pretty good considering you are compressing the hell out of the video

this phone should be out everywhere, but the motorola v551 is very similiar to this one, even though i think the 6230 is much better, if motorola would stop sucking cingular's d*** we would see this phone just about everywhere, but instead, cingular is pushing the v551 and the razor v3

you have to get a HDS-3 headset and modify it with a 1/8" stereo adapter, once you do that you can use any headphones you want with it and you can go to best buy or radioshack or even walmart and pick up a 1/8" headphone to stereo RCA adapter... if you want to modify it yourself check this out.... http://origin.mine.nu/nokia/nokia_ hds-3_mod.shtml if you want to buy it... ebay has it sometimes... but it usually goes pretty high... or you can go ...

hey dkh, i have had the phone for about 2-3 weeks now and the mp3 player is GREAT. it sounds amazing through the headphones and it sounds suprisingly good through the loud speaker. definately get a headset and a bigger mmc, i am using a 64mb mmc right now, and i'm looking to upgrade it. the bitrate can go as high as you want it, i have all of mine on my computer at 192kb/s, however those ...

hey again, i too just switched over from verizon to cingular.... 1... answered in your other post 2... try going to menu, settings, connectivity, bluetooth... turn bluetooth on, then search for autio enhancements (make sure your bluetooth headset is turned on) 3... usb cable, bluetooth, or infrared... in that order by how fast they transfer.... i use a usb cable... you need to download Nokia PC Suite 6.2 (its free on nokia.com) 4... combine #2 w/o the headset and download Nokia PC Suite ...

Hey everyone, I just thought you guys would like to know that ATT Wireless stores are selling "MMC Music Albums" for $1. I went and picked up five of these bad boys, poped them in my MMC reader. They are 64 MB, i formated them and BAM, just like a new 64 MB MMC card. They are going quick so check it out. I figure its a better buy than paying $70+shipping on nokia.com Jim

the motorola V3 fits your description, however it wont be out until thanksgiving at the EARLIEST, more likely around X-mas. the motorola MPX-220 is coming our around then too, but they are both going to be around the $500 range and the RF on motorolas are usually crappy. There is the Sharp GX-32, but i seriously doubt that cingular will carry it. Cingular is releasing the Nokia 6230 (thats what i'm getting :D ), but its ...

the 6620 and 6230 both operate on 850/1900/1800.... so that makes them BOTH world phones the 6620 is a series 60 which does run everything in the book, compared to the 6230 which only runs java

i was comparing it to the sd..... here is what i meant lung.... MMC are not as common as SD in the US, therefore they are not as easy to find. and just because they are on bestbuy.com and circuitcity.com doesn't mean that every retail store has them. when i get my MMC i want to walk into a store, pick one off the shelf and put it in my phone then. Not shop online and wait 2-6 weeks ...

SD is actually thicker than MMC, i have looked into this and people have tried to put SD in the 6230 with NO luck, so it only works with MMC, which are hard to find in the US
