What cingular does not want me to say.
I work for cingular customer care. I wanmt to answer frankly about all questions related to cingular. I am not on the clok I am not going to give b.s. answers the truth. Dealers customers go ahead and ask. On the phone there is a lot of things I cannot say.

I'd just like to know some phone releases...namely the A630. That's really the one I'm waitin on to replace my current phone. I've pretty much decided to go with Cingular, but I wanna know how much longer I have to wait to get the phone I want.

well crap. I certainly hope this isn't one of those phones that are announced and never released. I know it's shown up on Cingular's website, at least in the area for downloading extras. Oh well...guess we'll have to wait and see. My contract's not up til Dec. and I was willing to pay the ETF, but I suppose I can wait it out if I must.

đ¤Ŗ and that phone will be obsolete less than a year after I buy it. Besides...the tattoo is the completion of one I started almost a year ago. A damn fine cover-up of an old tribal armband that needs to be finished so that it's not so apparent that there's another design under it.

I saw that phone when nokia came to visit my job. There is never a definite release date on phones. But from what I heard that one is going to out in late october at the earliest. trying to wait to launch edge in some more markets before that phone is released.

I have a phone rebate problem:
The Cingular rebate form in my welcome kit (ordered via phone through SBC) has terms on the back stating the phone rebate is NOT for any family talk phones! đŋ
The Cingular rebate form on Cingular's site doesn't state that and just says up to 5 phones can get the rebate.
I've talked to SBC and two people at Cingular, and no one can agree on how I will get a rebate for each phone as promised! A manager at Cingular did confirm that the rebate offer is for EACH phone purchased, but if I send in the Cingular form from SBC/Cingular, then I might not get my rebate on the other phone. (I paid $100 per phone, not free, or 2-for-1.)

Rebates does not care where u order came from send the one that will give u the rebates on a per phone basis. Rebates just issues checks and make sure they have all the information on the forms. Also if u do not get the rebates from cingular customer care will probly put a credit on your statment for the second rebate u did not get that is what i do for customers that did not receive the rebate.

and
"Participating Cingular Wireless Retail Store or Agent and Cingular.com"
Cingular.com Form (up to 5 per household)
I know SBC is what is called an Affiliate Sales Channel, so from what you say, I could still qualify by sending in the one that doesn't say that? Guess SBC qualifies as an Agent as well?

Cool just remember that SBC is just another independent dealer of cingular. If you have questions about cingular or want to sign up for cingular service talk to a cingular employee. You can always combine your bill at any point even if you do not order your phone from SBC.

Here is the thing with mail in rebates... we use Young America, I think T Mobile does as well... One thing they don't tell you is that a machine actually sorts the rebates... If you have the rebate form stapled or taped together with the IMEI bar code from the side of the box or if the envelope goes in a little crooked, the machine spits it out and there is no way for anyone to know you sent it in... also, most of the time if you have 2 rebates in one envelope, you may not get it because the sort machine can't handle it... just thought I'd pass on the info...
