What cingular does not want me to say.
If ya can't answer...I can wait.
BTW disturbed:
The A630 is actually expected to release within the next couple of weeks... The announcement was the beginning of Sep.

damnit...just when it's time to buy the gf a birthday gift and a NICE tattoo convention hits the general area, THAT'S when they decide to release the $200-300 phone I want. đŋ
Normally I'd listen to ya though.
disturbed1 said:That's perfectly fine. Nobody ever listened to me before, either (and I realize that no one ever should)đ And that's why I post very infrequently now. There're things to do, and this isn't one of them. Besides, this site's forums are about as civilized as anything in the 21st Century. Which is to say they aren't.
đ¤Ŗ and that phone will be obsolete less than a year after I buy it. Besides...the tattoo is the completion of one I started almost a year ago. A damn fine cover-up of an old tribal armband that needs to be finished so that it's not so apparent that there's another design under it.
Normally I'd listen to ya though.
I guess I'll have to wait for 21 mos. after my contract is up since I've already been without a cell phone for 8 mos.! âšī¸
By then, Nokia should have all the bugs (if any) worked out. đ
I have a phone rebate problem:
The Cingular rebate form in my welcome kit (ordered via phone through SBC) has terms on the back stating the phone rebate is NOT for any family talk phones! đŋ
The Cingular rebate form on Cingular's site doesn't state that and just says up to 5 phones can get the rebate.
I've talked to SBC and two people at Cingular, and no one can agree on how I will get a rebate for each phone as promised! A manager at Cingular did confirm that the rebate offer is for EACH phone purchased, but if I send in the Cingular form from SBC/Cingular, then I might not get my rebate on the other phone. (I paid $100 per phone, not free, or 2-for-1.)
Per Cingul...
(continues)
There is a difference in wording on the 2 forms as to where the phone was ordered:
"Affiliate Sales Channel Rep" SBC Form
(no Family Talk allowed)
and
"Participating Cingular Wireless Retail Store or Agent and Cingular.com"
Cingular.com Form (up to 5 per household)
I know SBC is what is called an Affiliate Sales Channel, so from what you say, I could still qualify by sending in the one that doesn't say that? Guess SBC qualifies as an Agent as well?
Just want to get this right because it seems that SBC and Cingular aren't on the same wavelength. đ
Thanks much!
However I did staple everything together. đ
