Some are. I don't think Best Buy Mobile employees get paid commission. I'd rather be paid hourly than become a brainwashed COR employee. I like being able to think outside the box.

My company doesn't carry it yet but my COR friends average like 3 accessories per iPhone sale. That's a lot of profit alone for a sale. People ask me all the time about the iPhone and I always ask them the same question, "Whatcha gonna use it for?" 9 times out of 10, their response is email, phone, texting, and the rare calendar. At some point in the conversation, I like to mention that the iPhone is nothing more than ...

This is possibly the dumbest thing I have ever read. Finally being able to sell this unsaid, mystery phone (I'm going to assume your an at&t Indirect talking about the iPhone) gives you a leg to stand on when trying to talk them in to a different model, whether that be Blackberry, Android, whatever. If they still say "no" then accept you are only going to make $2.25 and sell them the phone. In all fairness, the iPhone sells ...

It's definitely a nice phone and for the price, you can't beat it. As far as Android phones go... :?

This isn't Europe here. If people want their phone's unmolested by a carrier then they will have to buy it outright and deal with the manufacturer themselves. Too bad people are to cheap and lazy to do that...

Or...
Mar 11, 2010, 6:16 PM

Just wait for someone to figure out how to root it and install a non-at&t ROM. That's definitely going to be the most cost effective way considering the retail cost versus the at&t subsidized price.

I agree with Jayshmay on this one. If you don't do your research and buy this phone, you WILL be sorry that you didn't wait. It's not a bad phone, but there will be much better (there had better be better) Android options coming to at&t soon.

Yea the Droid forum doesn't get much action. As far as rooting the Eris... no, it doesn't seem like you can. I kinda assumed you were using The Moto Droid seeing as to how this is the Moto Droid forum. I did see that there is the Eris 2.1 leak out there though which should be available to you soon :)

There are a few. For instance, Swype. It can be downloaded off of Alldroid.org, and probably a few other sites, and installed using Installer. There's no place in particular to find them as most are on in the Market, but every now and then I do run into one. If your phone isn't rooted already, get to it. Easily the best thing you can do for the droid.

Yo do have to re-click the recipients portion of the message to add more than one contact. After that, the curser stays there until you click the actual message portion.

Re: Multiple text Recipients???

You are absolutely doing something wrong here. It's a very straight forward process to send a message to more than one recipient. Go to your local VZW store and ask for some help. That's what they're there for!!!! As for getting multiple notices, heres the step by step: 1. Open stock Messaging 2. Menu, Settings 3. Uncheck "Notifications"

Re: ur answer

I have never had any issues sending to multiple contacts. I start typing the name, select it and then repeat. This works with both the stock messaging app AND Handcent. Your obviously doing something wrong and after reading your other posts, I can guarantee it.

Are you using the stock messaging app or one you downloaded off of the market such as Handcent or ChompSMS?
