Interesting you say that, which I understand they roam off each other, but in many of the same area VZW has coverage and Sprint, VZ is has much better data speeds.

Agreed, I am glad Sprint slammed Dish, this is ridiculous. I wonder how this now effects Sprint reviewing Dish networks offer to buy Sprint. The sooner they reject the offer, the better.

Absolutely agree! Sprint needs to decline the Dish network deal soon, and get back to finishing the softbank deal.

They use to already do this?

Data speeds effected by interference ?

Hello, Wondering if anyone has some information or knowledge on this question. Can you data speeds on your smartphone be effected by inference such as CB radios, and other mobile devices in large numbers. I work at a site with about 2500 employees during the day, speeds are a hit and miss in the day. At night they are fast and consistent. I know capacity has a lot to do with that as well, but thought about all the people ...

I have the EVO, and have 4G in my Area (Denver), so I already pay the $10 extra, and I believe blackberry users also pay a $10 fee as well. I can see though how this would get expensive having 5 lines on an account and adding 50 bucks extra. I don't think this is a good move for sprint, especially since alot of users are reporting slow 3G speeds as of late.

I appreciate your reply and the information. I am curious to see if anyone was being effected besides just me. One of my co workers who has sprint as well, has also noticed the network quality down as well. I wonder what is going on.

Recent Network Speed and Quality issues?
Jan 14, 2011, 8:56 PM

Normally I never drop any calls, always receiving constant 1.5Mbps to 2.5 Mbps Within Northern Denver metro area. I would even get full bars in North Boulder CO. This past week My speeds have been average at 300Kbps. I have been dropping more calls than I ever have with Sprint. Anyone else having issues recently like this in there area?

This weekend was horrible, could not hold a call and took many attempts to make a call at home. Same with my wives cell as well. Called T-Mobile, they said it looked like it was network issue, had me put my MT3G on 2G only. Bam, my calls were working again. They said they would send someone out to look at the towers near my home. She told to put it back to 3G in 72 hours and see ...

They have a "feel good theme" to them to me. The old Nextel ones were pretty cool. The one with the dots, and the one dude sitting on the table playing the "Baby. Baby. baby babay" with his boombox was hilarious. Verizon's are okay, they got good ones here and there, but the "theres a map for that" got old..Reallly fast.

The ones with the orange sheets is okay, but the ones I really liked was with the one where the father is leaving on a business trip and takes his daughters little bear or something and takes a picture of it each place he is at and sends it back to his wife to share with there daughter while he is away. here are the links, some of my favorite ATT commercials: ATT Best coverage world wide 2009 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F24ckDW0 izI ATT Rethink Possible http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aOl4 OzcyKK4&feature=related Those ...

I don't know if anyone else is like me, but I enjoy wireless commercials, but it just seems to me, tmobile's ads are really just boring, and un-memoriable this last year. I have T-Mobile, but I really enjoy AT&T commercials. I Know, its retarded but just my thoughts. :D

I live in Colorado, I had t-mobile back in 05 till 07. It was pretty decent, since than I returned 6 months ago, and the coverage seems to be worse than it was before. I am dropping calls and not get 3G coverage where it says I should be getting. Anyone else getting this in other parts on the country including Colorado? Thanks.

true, i see your point. I guess i see LTE as a better technology, faster from what i have heard. HSPDA+ is already right on Sprints WiMax 4G. I actually wish sprint had chosen LTE along with vzw, att, and tmo. That way everything is more universal.

It really depends on where you are located. Check T Mobiles coverage map, that should give you an idea. I just recently switched to T Mobile from Sprint, and have been very happy with the switch. I am from the Denver Area, but again it differs from location.

Apple iPhone coming to T-Mobile instead of Verizon Wireless in 2010?
Feb 28, 2010, 10:20 AM
in the T-Mobile forum

Apple's (AAPL) iPhone has been the biggest feather in the cap of U.S. partner AT&T (T), which has recruited millions of new wireless customers every quarter just based on the iPhone handset alone. Without it, AT&T could have slipped far behind larger rival Verizon Wireless in the last few years. In part due to the iPhone's incredible success, Verizon Wireless had to buy rival Alltel earlier this year just to keep up (and surpass) AT&T's wireless subscriber numbers. But ...

Reid’s thoughts come off analysing the carriers different advertising campaigns, “AT&T advertising in the United States has in recent weeks clearly shifted away from iPhone as the carrier likely readies itself to lose exclusivity in the United ...

After 4 years with sprint, I finally have come back to T-Mobile. This is not to taunt anybody Sprint, I really enjoyed Sprints service which is really solid in Denver Colorado.
