Your are all so wrong. CDMA or WCDMA will become the wordwide standard. This is due to one major fact. GSM can support EVDO/EVDA broadband speeds.

Well, besides paying too much for a Honda (HE HE), you had probably stick with CDMA. While Bluetooth is cool to use wirelessly, what phone is wirless connectivity in your car when you can't get a signal on you freggin phone (GSM).

No. Vodafone will see it's 45% to Verizon Comm. VZW is a monry making machine, and Vodafone stockholders do not want to get rid og them. In addition to this, if Cingular buys AT&T wireless, they will actually lose some of their spectrum liscenses, as you can not be the same carrier on both the A and B side.

If you are going to talk to your lawyer, I would stop talking about it on this forum. Duh, didn't that get you in trouble already. Oh yeah, Proprietary= Exclusively owned; private: a proprietary hospital. Owned by a private individual or corporation under a trademark or patent: a proprietary drug. Key word would be "private," hopefully your lawyer as a dictionary.

Hope you all have fun with Cingular. I mean the billing conversions, buying new equipment, having no service, being forced to change your plans with renewal..I would jump ship now, and join Verizon Wireless or someone else.

Reason why: Verizon's coverage can change due to partnerships that they have with other wireless carriers. If you would like to see a VZW owed network, click on the enhanced servics map. Nextel can only show what their coverage is, because NO ONE else uses IDEN tech....

Probably not, incoming calls are like a thing of the past. The only reason nextel offers that is because most people who have nextel, only want it for the 2-way.

If we lack in so many areas then why do we have over 30 million customers. It is not being Arrogant it is being confident. I really think the other companies are jealous of VZW and try everything under the sun to catch up but we just keep pulling away. Explain this to me?

You need to learn that GSM is on it's way out, as many different companies worldwide will be swicthing to CDMA2000 as it can handle extremelt hifg speed signals, were as GSM cannot.

Moto phones suck now. I will agree that the 7868 and the Timeport were one of the best. BUt the 720/730 and all V60 series suck balls

CDMA much better. GSm is just a version of TDMA. Plus, GSM will only offer EDGE as their high-speed platform, while CMDA will allow broadband access. In 2-3 years, mosy GSM will need to convert to CDMA2000 or beyond.

Just wait until the numbers are released next. VZW will have a record breaking quarter. And you now why, it's not because they offer free phones or night starting at 7 (which they don't), it is because they network and customer service are the best.

Same as LGman. Usually a beacon of 600-650 will be a 125 dep 600 or lower 400, and then 650 or gigher will be none. However, it is a good investment of 5% interest
