Have fun w/ Cingular

denver

Hope you all have fun with Cingular. I mean the billing conversions, buying new equipment, having no service, being forced to change your plans with renewal..I would jump ship now, and join Verizon Wireless or someone else.

you full of it. the way i figure it can only get better more coverage (combining both services) better phones ( since such a big customer base phone manufacturers will take their bid first on latest tech) and any merger or take over done by ATTWS has never required a rate plan change

That is most incorrect statement i have ever heard. Considering that we use practically the same networks (look at the frequencies each company uses for both GSM and TDMA) there should be no problem with the phones working on the combined service areas. Also, what business sense would it be to make everyone get new equipment and force new rate plans???? There are still people with SunCom phones on ATTWS service, so i have no idea what you are talking about unless you're just a Verizon lover who is a little scared.

When you sign a contract, that generally grandfathers you into a specific rate plan for life. Now, when you decide to increase or decrease your minutes, then the current rateplan may not be availiable....so you would have to choose a new rateplan. But there will be no price increases/ decreases for current customers unless you change your grandfathered rateplan.

Let me put it this way:

ATTWS sucks
Cingular sucks

A merger will mean your (their) service will suck twice as bad🙂 HE HE HE

😁

Laugh all you want now, you won't be smiling after one year or until this merger/ buyout is done. While your pathetic self is crying at the fact that your company is no longer going to be #1, you'll be choking on our fumes...leaving your sorry butt in the dust! lol, you should just stop posting now....

yeah denver
how do you think verizon became #1 anyway. it wasn't just sales. they bought a lot of smaller wireless companies. they bought one of the best in the bay area, ca. GTE. gsm will take over. if this merger happens then t- mobile is next. their coverage sucks compared to att and cingular combined. ie west coast and midwest. why don't you just be cingular and join the gsm family.

Verizon will still have a larger network, but they sure as hell won't have a larger 3G network then ATT/Cingular combined. 😛

WOW How cool is it to have a Verizon mark come here and flame us! How much do they pay you guys to flood our Forums with crap? 🙄

Oh and why is it that they never post a reply when they post crap like this? 🤣
