haha att will never allow tethering with this device it will then become obsolete. If tethering is added whats the point of having a data card when your own device can be the data card plus the phone at the same time. Tethering can be established by jailbreaking the phone. a very easy process. idk those are just my thoughts.

If you cant show the initiative of calling before an international trip or if you for some odd reason cant dail the short codes (that I might add come preloaded onto your device) to check for minutes or messaging usage then any additional overage charges are VALID by me. The fact of the matter is...is customers need to become more self sufficient. Your contract does not state that your wireless provider is going to hold your hand and baby you about every situation. ANDRIOD Vs. iphone..
I personally like andriod over mac os or apple any day!! I like the security of being able to add an insurance plan to devices that have andriod than to have to gamble with a high price device that the andriod can do anyway. Who else feels this way?

Yeah in most cases the system will detect what type of device you are using. If your going to buy a smart phone or PDA then why not use the data for it. Your arent going to buy a car without buying gas for it are you? same concept.

If you will be traveling internationally it only makes sense to call your wireless provider to see if your device will work properly over seas. DO NOT ASSUME IT WILL. Training Training Training...knowledge is key to customer service. Its sad that companies wont pay out enough for longer training periods however when a company has bad customer service they blame the employees.

Ive experienced where the issue occurs however the reps manager inputs information onto the computer and the "glich" is fixed. Trial and error is far fetched at most for stores.
I understand where trail and error can occur however for CS we experience the same issue on a day to day basis and we become knowledge-able on how to get that issue resolved. Of course we have different systems in a CS than at a store to better solve the ...

Call centers train longer than store reps. Call centers add and remove price plans more than store reps which means they are able to inform customers about prorated charges, partial charges more than a store rep would. Store reps only want the sale.
