Alarm's
Bought my wife this phone and over all love it.
She noticed her daily / wake up alarm ,re-set's
it self to a default of 8:45 p.m .
Any one else experience this?

The SGH-p777 will only support MP3 ringtones which are downloaded to the handset. The reason being, the memory location where downloaded items are stored is separate from the memory location the MP3 Player accesses. The storage location for ringtones, or downloaded MP3 files is not accessible to the end user.

The P pause wait's till you put in the code for your answering machine { like in a bank account for security purpose}....when you tried the other pause { it's 2 sec's per pause} usually it takes 2-3 pauses most answering machines like two...

There is nothing to correct Samsung make's the phone to the service providers spec's...they ask for those features ...when the phone's were mavde to go totally silent by using the # button ...people were asking why cant i silent what i want to i'm waiting for that inportant e-mail/ text message ...i guess you cant please everybody...{ maybe Samsung will call you for your approval next time they manufacture a phone }

When entering the e-mail addy ...hit the option button..the box pop's open ...change #1 { 123 or abc over to symbol using the directional key..press ok the symbol grid opens then move left to page 4 of the symbols... it's on the #1 key on that page

Were you able to get the pauses to at least come on the screen?...When you edit the number does it allow you to wipe out the *86?...if so get in touch with verizon find out what the real phone number is ..000-000-0000...then put in the pauses...and password...

when entering a phone number 512-090-0098...and you want to enter a pass code after it ...press the * key it changes to the letter p...that is a 2 second pause...we recomend 2 pauses...then enter the pass code...the end result should look like
512-090-0098pp1234 then save as you normally would ....

Funny Story
Just got a call from a woman in Vermont. She recently moved form Burlington to the country and now her signal is low...she honestly asked me if the cow's on her property would interfear with the signal !!!! ...I had to ask if they were Jersey or Gurnsee...lol

unfortunatly you cant get it to vibe or one beep...menu 3-9-3-3-2-1 will allow you to choose from melodies or bells some of wich are low volume...the only other way is to ask verizon to stop the signall from it's end

internal screen only on the caller id and yes to the wallpaper....when looking at your photos press options then choose wallpaper or caller id

first off NEVER KEEP A PHONE ATTATCHED TO A CAR CHARGER!!!!!! They are only for charging a dead battery not for keeping attatched...

The only way to get the pics off the phone is through e-mail.
The provider has that option locked off the design of the phone so the can make more cha-ching..Yes the port on the phone is a data port and is used for uploading pics to the phone or data transfer from oputlook{ phone numbers? names} you can check

Its not that we choose not to do so ....It's that we have a partnership with the providers they are our main customers it's their phone not ours or yuor to do with what we please..it's kinda like stealing cable ...the cable box belongs to the cable company not you .If you worked in the indusrty you would understand ask the people in Europe why they pay hundreds of pounds for the 49$ phone thats here in the US. ...

the cable you have is shutting off the phone this is probably due to the fact that all ports are not universal ...i'd stop using that cable and check out

Samsung CANT UNLOCK PHONES they are manufactured for the service providers they are the only ones that can LEGALY unlock a phone the reason they are locked is they sell the phone to you at a disount price to get you into a contract the cost of the phone is recouped that way...the unlock codes are only available through the provider !!

The best and only headset you should use is Samsung's the one made for that phone .Plugging any other headset in can cause problems...COMPATIBLE and UNIVERSAL are not true!!! how can they be do they test all phone ? i doubt it ...also ....

The only people that can unlock the phone is carrier ATT..let it be known that if you do succusfully unlock it yuor warranty is voided if you use it on another system ...
