Refer every one of these customers to my post in the VZW forum about how we intend to please web complainers. We'll just give everyone free everything. Then we won't be able to afford to maintain our network. Then they will b*&ch about dropped calls instead of lame phones. It never ends.

The fact that you said "tha" automatically makes me not talk to you. e-gangsta. 8) just playing with ya. I'm totally for ebonics on the web. The best insurance policy is to get ahold of Vinny in NJ. He is down with breaking kneecaps if Asurion doesn't give you free stuff when you drop your phone in the pool.

Verizon's plans to please the web complainers...

We are going to give you all free service and as many free phones as you want. We are also going to change our network so you can activate janky GSM clones of actual phones such as fake Nokia's from China. Hell, we'll actually pay YOU for using our network. ....And they all lived happily broke everafter.

Well, our corporate decision is that we do not want to give people good phones. This is why we strive to provide the most crap we possibly can. Seriously, what do you people want. By you people I am obviously being a racist bigot. Actually, in all seriousness...this complaint has been around forever and I've determined something: PEOPLE WILL ALWAYS COMPLAIN NO MATTER WHAT A COMPANY DOES.

Well duh. We have to make our money. The surgery involved with that implant is pretty damn expensive to subsidize.

And based off those hardware specs it is not difficult to load an OS to similar hardware specs in a different form factor.

I wasn't referring to the iPhone. That's been talked dead. I was talking about the new implant that goes into your head and allows you to see (hallucinate) the person you're talking to when they call you. It also automatically deducts your charges from your bank account whether you like it or not. While it may cause extreme neurological issues, it's great for business. :)

Re: MOTO Q music 9m vs. 9c
Jun 12, 2008, 10:43 PM
in the Verizon forum

They are basically the same except one major point...the Q9C has GPS capability with VZNavigator. The Q9M does not. I would go with the Q9C if I were you because both have the same music playback capability. The only difference in the music department is that the Q9M has VCast Music built in so you can download music over the air to the phone...but you have to pay for it. You're better off sideloading music from your computer to ...

Everyone freaking out about the VZW/Alltell situation please stop acting like you know what is going to happen. None of us that work for either company is 100% sure what is going to happen so please stop making these retarded posts about how My Circle will die, or when and how different plans/promos/etc are going to be changed. If you are at the upper management level in this situation and have some knowledge of what is happening I HIGHLY ...

That's whiny people for ya. I can't even tell you how many times I have had people call in complaining about how they've went through 6 touch screen pda's in a row and all of them had "substandard" touchscreens because they all ended up messed up. I ask, "Where do you carry it?" The response typically is "In my pocket like any other cell phone!" Well genius, it's a freakin PDA with a fairly delicate touchscreen. If you keep ...

That's because iTunes is extremely proprietary. I found a cheap program at Best Buy for audio editing. It lets you edit like crazy but you can also chop a clip out of a song to convert to what can be a ringtone. I can't remember the name of the program but it was only like 10 bucks. It's way easier if you have a PDA or Blackberry because you can use any mp3 as a tone.

I just realized I kind of mangled that statement. You get the point though. The phones that the native GPS was disabled and later assigned to the VZNavigator was because that system is locked to the Navigator so it can't be tracked the same way.

There's two schools of thought to answer why that doesn't work. The nice version says that since there is protected content available (aka ota downloads of music, games, etc) the company is protecting you from breaking the law. The other school says that we like to make money. lol I guess you have to just choose which answer sounds good to you. I will say this though. The one argument about why VZW disabled GPS in many phones actually ...

One of my friends worked for Cricket for awhile and flashed an HTC/UT Starcom 6700 to cricket. He had issues with mms but the data connection worked. Do you have web access on it? Actually now that I think about it I wonder if he was using WiFi.

Re: AT&T customer with serious question

It isn't really a CDMA vs. GSM issue. It's a matter of having repeaters in place and overall coverage. I will say that in my experience with CDMA and GSM, CDMA tends to have less disruptions. For example, I have never had this happen with a CDMA phone but with the TMO Sidekick every time that phone was anywhere near a speaker in the car or my house it would transmit a buzzing noise through the speakers.

Don't know when for sure but I can assure you that unless Palm has really stepped it up I'd avoid it. And forget the guy dissing the curve. Blackberries are always more reliable than any Palm product I have had the displeasure of troubleshooting.
