flexing from v400 to v600

Oct 12, 2004, 2:08 AM
i have been readin through the posts on this forum, and i know this topic has come up numerous times before, however some of the links are broken, and i was hoping that someone could explain to me what software i would need to change the flexware of my v400 to that of the v600
and if someone could let me know the benefits and difficulities in doing so, that would also be greatly appreciated

This is definitely a Brettflan question. I still haven't flexed mine. I kind of have the opinion, "if it's not broke... don't fix it!"

For most people, it's not worth it.
Here are some of my previous posts on flexing to V600:

And one thing I forgot to mention in those posts which is kind of nifty, when you're roaming it will tell you whose network you're on. So if you're connected to a T-Mobile tower, it will show "T-Mobile" on the inner LCD rather than "Cingular".
