Motorola RAZR V3m

Does the V3m have a speakerphone that allows 2 way conversation or does one person have to complete his talk before the other can talk...in other words is it a true full-duplex phone?...TIA, Bill

First off, i like the look of the silver more. It looks crisper to me. Most likely its because Ive had my v3c (gray) since december or whatever, so the gray is running stale on me.

As far as the keypad though, I love how the black keypad does not show all of the smudges and fingerprint marks, but one thing Im not crazy about on the silver is the keypad backlight color.

On the gray razr, it is an electric royal blue, but on the silver, when held next to the gray in the dark it looks like a washed out sort of turquoise color. In my opinion it just does not look as sharpe at night.

but everything else I like about the silver. just my 2 cents

do anyone know how to make a ringtone on this phone? I tried to saved the mid file on the memory card and copy to the phone, it only allow me to "rename" or "move" the file. I can not save the song for ringtone.

I've had the phone for a little under 2 weeks. The battery seems squirrely. For example, it was fully charged last night and I put it in my car overnight. Seven hours later, it was on low battery, with zero use. Bluetooth isn't on.

I read the messages about cycling the battery, I thought that was only needed with NiCad. And, who has time to let a phone go to low battery four or five times?

Any thoughts - do I have a defective phone?

i thought that this phone would come in colors(blue, maroon, purple). thats what was on moto's site before it was actually released. but knowing verizon, the prettiest color they could come up with (more like copy) was the washed out pink. god forbid verizon would ever think of offering color and style in a cell phone!

Can anyone tell me if you can use the speaker phone on the v3m without opening the phone? I am debating buying this phone or the samsung sch 930 and the 930 you can do that. Thanks for any help.

OBEX was on the original V3c .02, gone on the .03 and back on the .04 firmware & phone.

downloaded music player 10, sync to phone worked fine, but getting authentication failure message. how do i fix. Music plays fine on computer

I've seen conflicting answers on varoius forums. Can anyone tell me if they've had luck syncing the contacts and address book to the V3m via bluetooth on a mac using iSync? I'm running OS 10.4.7 (released last week) which has a newer version of iSync.

I'm due for a new phone on Monday and debating between this and the e815 which I know is supported.

The only advantage I see over the e813 is VZ navigator which would have come in handy a time or two. The smaller form factor is nice too. Though I've heard of lots of issues with the RAZRs while the e815 by all accounts is a very solid phone.

I've had a V3 since 11/04 with zero problems and bought a V3m with a second number last week, specifically so I can have unlimited IN calls. But, for some reason, I have a REALLY hard time hearing the person when they call. I have no issues so far with out of network calls, and have received many, many calls from this person from their cell to my V3 and to my land line before without this dufficulty, so I don't suspect it's their phone.

Does anyone else have the same expereience? Does this make any sense at all, from a technical perspective? Would a wired headset perhaps help and, if so, anyone have a recommendation (obviously would need a mini-USB adaptor)? Anyone have the stereo bluetooth headset, and how is the volume on incoming calls...

Does turning off EVDO affect text messaging? What does disabling do in terms of reception -- does switching off EVDO and using 1X affect reception and call quality?

on my last phone, a lg vx 7000 I was able to use a freeware program called bitpim, that worked fairly well, but that did not support all of the features of the phone. I was wondering if anyone uses a particular type of software that they like, or if they know of some bad ones, also prices and where to find the software, any input would be awesome... thanks

the wife dropped my brand new silver v3m in the pool...it was less than 24 hrs old...AHHHHHHHHH!!!.

waiting patiently for it to dry, hopfully it will work. I was getting responses earlier this morning when trying to turn it on, but then I read i shouldnt try it until its completely dried out, or it can short circuit.

any suggestions, this sucks 😛

Thinking about buying the RAZR V3m, but if I have to unclip from the holster to talk it would be too much of a hassle. Please let me know if you have to unclip to talk. Thanks.

😕 Can someone please tell me where and how to find the trans flash memory card slot on my RAZR V3m? I've looked everywhere from the hard copy manual to the Motorola website. What am I missing?

I had an E815 and it was no problem...slot stood out like a red flag.
