Tracking data usage

Silly question.

Is there any way to track data usage?
Coming from a Nokia 6682 there was an app
which would give you your voice minutes
and data usage counters.
There doesn't seem to be any such app on the
8125, or am I missing something?

If there isn't, does anybody know of any
3rd party utilities to provide this info?

thanks, jon.

GPS software

I am very interested in buying a bluetooth GPS system for my Tmobile MDA. I would like to know from anyone who has already used GPS software with this phone what they think. I have read some threads about Copilot. What software has worked the best for maps here in the states?

Antivirus?

Are there any antivirus programs that work on this phone yet? I tried downloading F-secure, but it crippled my phone to the point where I couldn't even bring up the dialpad and my phone went into permanent flight mode. Once I removed F-secure, my phone went back to normal.

Disassemble

Anyone know how to take the 8125 apart? or where I could find a good step by step? I'm usually a pro at taking phones apart, but this one kinda has me stumped.

I see the two screws at the bottom but none at the top. I could only speculate that underneath the camera lens section there's 2 more screws but I'm afraid to tempt that one without knowing exactly where to take it apart.

If anyone can point me in the right direction, I'd really appreciate it.

The reason for asking is, my left direction pad is funked up, when i hit it, it feels like i'm hitting up/left/down all in a row. I can actually feel the rubber clicks when slowly hitting it. If i hit it in one specific spot, it goes left as it should, but no where near like the r...

Skype with MDA?

Has anyone tried using Skype mobile with the MDA? I have tried with little success on 2 different networks. The person on the other end seems to hear me fine, but they come back completely garbled to me. Just wondering.

Freezing issues

Whats everyones feedback as far as freezing goes with this phone? I have to reset mine atleast once a day... I talked to a guy on a flight I was recently on and he said his never seems to go slow or freezes up, he also mentioned that he put most of his stuff on his mini sd card. I don't have a SD card currently could this be why? Or could I have just gotten a defective phone?

Also in phone mode does it seem like its a huge delay to end a call ?

8125 Removed from Cingular Website

I went into the Cingular website this morning to see if they had released the non-camera version of the 8125, the 8100, and I couldn't even find the 8125 anymore.

Any ideas ?

2gb MiniSD in Tmobile MDA

Hey all,

Has anyone with a Tmobile MDA tried the 2gb Sandisk MiniSd in their phone? Or any 2gb Minisd card for that matter? Calling Tmobile to confirm that the 2gb will work, Tier 3 tech support had no idea, Tier 2 said 512mb and above (but wasn't confident that the 2gb would work), and finally Tier 1 said 256mb max. I think they need to call HTC and learn about their own phone. 🙂 Anyway, just wondering if anyone had success with a 2gb minisd.

Thanks.
