Keypad light problem

I have the V323 (US Cellular) version of this phone, and I think it's a great phone in every respect with the exception of one thing: the blue keypad lights are very dim (almost non-existent on the left side), and upon turning the "Power Save" function off as well as searching for another means to adjust this feature, I've had no luck at all in trying to brighten them. I'm wondering if anybody else has had this problem or if it's just something inherent with this phone. Thanks!

Phone bogging down...

I just got this phone 3 days ago and it is slower than crap. I had sent/received a few pix messages but there weren't more than five or six.. I deleted all my messages and it was better, but it is still kind of slow (takes 3-4 full seconds to exit menus after clearing inbox.) Does anyone else have this problem? i'm about to return it and get another.

I love the phone but I can't be waiting around for it..

voicemail tweek?

So i got the V325 at the beginning of February, and i love the phone, but every weekend i can't get into my voice-mail on my phone, if i use a friends phone i can access it, its weird i was wondering if anyone else was having this issue, or if it's just a bug in my phone. I also went to call customer service but i couldn't because i won't accept a number entry and just keeps repeating to enter a number. I was wondering if theres a software update that i need or something.
R9-1_X_05.28.09P does this mean i have V9? if anyone can help me I'd appreciate it, it's starting to tick me off not being able to get voice-mail. thank you.

Can the Dreaded Low Battery Warning be disabled ?

Has anyone found out if the Low Battery Warning sound that keeps repeating every 2 minutes can be quieted without turning the phone off ?

This is the only reason keeping me and my company from using Moto phones.

Please god , let them fix this in the software ?

When in silent mode the phone should be silent , right ?

Strange behavior and new PRL

1) My phone randomly shows the left arrow-right arrow icon without the phone icon to the left of it (data call). Does anyone know what this represents? I hit the end key and it still remains on.

2) I shut my phone off and when I went to turn it back on, incoming phone calls would have the phone vibrate and ring lights would come on, but no caller-id was displayed and hitting talk would not pick-up the call. I traced it down to when you have the lock on the phone and turn on your phone, if you do not enter the lock phone very quickly (before the "registering applications" message appears) then you are unable to receive calls. The wierd thing is you can never get to a place to unlock the phone once that "registering apps" message appear...

Found the source of the V325 "Ring Light's" software glitch!!

I sure hope this works the same for all of you who are experiencing problem's with the ring light's...the cause seems to be connected with the setting with "Display Themes" under display. If you leave the setting on "default", then every time you power down/up the phone...you'll have the ring light issue. (Unless of course you plug in the charger, or shut the cover right away when powering up the phone).

But when I put the setting to Blue, Business or Tropical and turned the phone off/on, the ring light option stayed on!! 😁 I tried it several times in all 3 setting's, and it works!

So to avoid the problem till the software upgrade, just don't keep the Display Themes setting to Default, and you'll be OK! 🙂

(I sure hope I'm r...

reception vs 815

Has anybody compared the reception/signal strength on this phone with the 815. I can't decide between the two so I was just curious. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Software updates

To update software, is that something you have to do at a Verizon store or can you do it by dialing # (3 digit number). I know to update something you dial #228 (??) maybe, but Im not sure which is which. Thanks for any help you may have. The board is great, I used it to figure out my next cell phone, was looking at either the razr v3c or the v325 and Im glad I made the better choice. 😁

V325 Much Ado About Nothing

Well, after months of waiting I finally got my hands on a V325 at VZ store today. All I can say is I'm glad my patience ran out in December and I got an LG 6100.

Some Software Glitches: Anyone Else? Any Thoughs?

I like this phone, but it appears to be incredibly "buggy" with a lot of software glitches. In paticular, I have noticed a few fundamental glitches on this phone that work just fine on the Moto E815--which has a virtually identical interface. I am a losing confidence in this phone and thinking about returning it. I am wondering if anyone else has experienced these problems, or knows anything further about them:

- Ring and Vibrate concurrently. The manual claims this can be done, by choosing "vibrate" on the master volume details menu. However, there is no such choice. (The Moto E815 does has a ring/vibrate choice on the master volume details menu).

- Key volume cannot be turned off. The lowest key volume does not go beyond "low"...

voice recorder

I was testing the voice recorder on the phone. And now I can't seem to erase the voice memo. The voice memo is saved in the sound and tune option. Is there a way to erase the voice memo? Is there something I'm overlooking? Please help.
