The video files that I capture with this phone play OK on the phone, but when I transfer them to my PC via USB they play without sound. Any thoughts?

I love this phone and am desperately trying to find a tv remote like the one I used to have on my nokia 3650. My only problem with the phone is that when i turn the keypad lock on, the backlight can still be turned on if the left softbutton is pressed. This sucks of you carry the phone in your pants and it is constantly being pushed. Yes I know i can just turn the backlight off, but that idea is useless at night.

so has anyone gotten any ridiculous deals on this phone yet? i want to buy it without any commitment and i want the cheapest price possible so i can unlock it and use it on t mobile 😁

I currently have the SE T300, the Worst Phone Ever.

- Does the SMT 5600 have missed call/voice mail light, or can you always see an indicator on the screen? With the T300, I have to pick up the phone and hit a bunch of key-unlock buttons if I want to see if I missed a call.

- Does it lag? I can type in an entire phone number before the T300 even responds...

- After you dial a number, or after you key-press you way though some automated phone system menu, does the phone keep all of that junk on the screen after the call is...

im considering this phone. my question is this phone ruined with Mmode or does it come with pocket internet explorer which will allow me to view html sites?

I was finally able to order this phone from ATT with my sharable plan. I had a feeling I would eventually find someone to do it for me. It's on the way now. I'm wondering if I'll be able to play music files on it that are not in the MP3 format? Will it play everything that the regular Windows Media Player on my desktop plays?

I keep seeing references to unlock sites (like http://www.c500-unlock.com/). I know that at least one person on this forum has supposedly done it... are they legit?

I'm thinking about signing up for ATT, unlocking, and flipping to Cingular (they have better family plans). No early termination fee for doing this BTW.

i went to a former att wireless store and tried to get this phone but they told me it was 399 and no discounts

I had an interesting experience yesterday.
I had locked my phone earlier and when I got it out to use it I found that it was hung for some reason (remember Windows Hangs). The keys wouldn't respond so I couldn't unlock it and since it was locked I couldn't reboot (power on/off) it also.
I got around the problem by removing the battery and placing it back, but would appreciate if anyone has a better suggestion.

when you transfer a video file from the computer to the phone (or the miniSD card) does it shrink the file? for instance, if i wanted to put an episode of a TV show that is 170mb would it be the same seize on the phone, because i don't think it needs to be.

Need to get a new phone asap. Just wondering what everyones input was on these two phones and which ones they liked better. I appreciate all feedback, thanks! -eric

...I want o buy this phone but with AT&T gone and Cingular not supporting it do I buy it? I am a TMobile customer now. Do I just buy an unlocked one and use it on TMobile or buy on through a place like Amazon and switch to Cingular. BTW, they say on Amazon's site that they do not do phone number switching to Cinglar, the only one they DO NOT support!

Is it as easy as just buying an unlocked unit?

Has anyone heard about this? I just spoke to a Cingular Rep. about the MolbiTV (live TV on your phone)under the Media Net site. He informed me the only phone it currently works with is the Nokia 6620. Does anyone know anything about this?

Does anyone know how to truly end an internet connection once you're done? I hit the end button but the 'G' is still above the battery. What gives?

Although everything I read tellms me that 5600 and Bluetrek G2 are compatible, I don't seem to be able to pair them. Any suggestions are welcome.

do i need to get the unlocking code for this phone if i have a cingular Sim card? i am not going to be using the internet options on the phone. only using it for calling....?

IS anyone else having problems sending or receing multimedia messages on there 5600?

I just unlocked my 5600 and I'm on Cingular now. However, I'm having difficulty accessing the Internet. Does anyone have a solution?
