End Internet
Does anyone know how to truly end an internet connection once you're done? I hit the end button but the 'G' is still above the battery. What gives?

Try forcing the Explorer application to quit. Go into the "Resource Mgmt." folder from the Start menu, then "Task Manager" and finally select the application and press "7" to Stop the application. I (unfortunately) use the Task Manager frequently enough to force Explorer and Windows Media Player, that I have assigned the quickdial "7" key to the "Task Mangaer" application, so I just press and hold "7" at the home screen, then highlight the app and press "7" again....

I have done this. I chose 'stop all' but it still stays. I have to either shut the phone down or switch to flight mode then switch back.
