Motorola V710

I know I will probably receive a lot of backlash for this, but it seems like we are all pretty impatient asbout this phone. Some people are even impatient about being told that they dont have patience. So here is my idea, we must have a good couple of hundred people who check this forum daily (some hourly). Why dont we put our collective voices to good use and e-mail verizon about how we feel. A silent voice is no voice at all. But if we all let them know, then maybe some chnage can come about.
For thos cynics out there who say that change cannot and will not happen, I respond to you that change must happen, as common sense and business practices demand it to happen.
So my people, lets rise up at let them know how desparate we are about ...

I know that about 1000 other people posted the same email from Motorola. But, I had my doubts so I emailed Motorola myself and I got the same email (as shown below). Now, I do post quite frequently in here and I don't post bull **** like the 90% of people in this forum...

I was searching through Verizon's site today and found accessories for the v710 already posted.

So far they have a black and a tan leather case for it, bluetooth headset, bluetooth car kit, bluetooth USB adapter to sync to PC, Pocket PC bluetooth software kit for data connection, and a really cool looking blackberry style keyboard addon device.

Unfortunately none of these accesories are enabled to add to cart yet. Go figure! But I'm guessing the phone is just on the horizon!!!

Alright people...I am waiting for this phone just as much as all of you...My V60c keeps crapping out and Verizon keeps giving me a new refurb or fru..Whatever they call it....

Was there this afternoon to switch phones for the 3rd time in two months because it won't charge and talked to my friend who is a manager there and has worked there for 12 years..She called an old employee that is now a Verizon tester who worked for her at her store in the past that she said will have info on the v710...She will be calling me later this afternoon to let me know exactly what he says.

Hopefully there will be concrete info...This is not a BS lead, I just hope there is some concrete info.

My wife works for a large outdoor advertising agency and Verizon is one of their clients, she was talking to the Verizon advertising rep. yesterday and was told that Verizon will be releasing several new phones starting mid-May through June. Unfortunatley, no models were discussed.

y the hell r some people saying its coming out tomorrow and somepeople say its coming out in a few months. well if its tomorrow it would be odd because the 810 never even came out yet. dont u think they would go in order

hey ya'll i just thought to mention that this phone is coming out on wednesday. yup, this wednesday. my uncle works in motorola and i overheard him discussing the details today (they are not allowed to even give family this kind of information). i got my hands a model that he had and this phone rocks!!! 🙂

When this Moto V710 actually comes out, will any phone currently or coming out around the June-Aug expected release date be a rival to this phone using the Verizon Wireless carrier?

I work for a company that is a fairly large user of Verizon. We spoke to our sales rep and they told us the phone would be available in around 2 months.
