Motorola V810

I do not have sprint but I do know several people who do have it or have had it and all except for one would lose the call at least every other time I talked to them. However it may be different in your area, so go with which ever service works best for you in your area or with which ever way you decide to choose your service. In my area I believe that Verizon gets the best service. As far as which phone to get I'm not sure yet but I do want to switch to verizon relatively soon so it my be the next one to come out, which I'm guessing will be the V810, though you never know. I hope Moto is just covering themselves and it comes out sooner than they told me because they said April 30th.

iv been reading everyones post, but could some one who is familiar with the cell phone business, give their input on when this phone will be out.. i have an lg 4400 i think it is, and it sucks.. i live in si, NY and i keep dropping calls. My plan w\verizon has been up since dec. but verizon has all ****y phones. This looks like the only decent phone. the samsung a610 is ugly, and useless, who uses a phone with no external caller id.and if you have the face flipped, if it rings, you have to reflip it cuz there ear piece is on the opposite side. just dumb 😳 . but in everyones opinion when do you think it will be out. Sprint sucks!!! Everytime I call a friend who has sprint it cuts off! Every time! Just a friendly word of advice: STAY AWAY!!!

A610 will blow the V810 out of the water. They both will have 621 color screen, both have flash, But the Samsung is such a better quality phone. Ive held it, it was in my local verizon store but they couldnt sell it to me till the 10th!!!!!!!!!! Its a awesome phone smaller than the spint version updated screen, and a few games and features!!!

Got email confirmation from Moto like several others did and it will be April 30th. I don't know about anyone else, but I want to switch to Verizon but I don't want to wait that long. I like the A610 but I personall feel that it is too big and heavy. Anyone else have a take the size/weight of the A610?

I also contacted Motorola a few days ago and they said March, anyone else think March?

Just like everyone has said so far, I got a response from Motorola saying the estimated release date is April 30th. The funny thing about the email is it had a link to this phone scoop forum for further information 🤣

Where is the verizon wireless coming soon website?

The real release date is April 30th. I inquired motorola directly, as well as VZW. Their responses match. Sorry to all of one who wanted it March. VZW is just way to slow on approving phones.

👿 is anyone else out there tired of being given wrong info about when this phone is coming out? I know i am, i work for verizon and when i get a release date from the appropiate place i'll happily post it. It would be nice if someone from motorola could do the same.

What does National Access from VZW mean??

All they hype about which phones are tri-mode. I just don't get it. How often do you really make calls in Analog? I live on the eastern shore of Maryland. You don't get closer to the middle of nowhere than where I live. I only see analog on my phone about once a week, and I use my phone all day long. I sell the LG6000 and 3100, and never get any returned for not being tri-mode. Whats cool is that all digital phones hang onto a digital signal better than a tri-mode does. Analog towers are constantly being converted. By the time these new all digital phones come out that you have been salivating over there won't be hardly any analog towers left. Whenever my phone is in analog (Very rarely) and I need to make a call, I turn it off and back on a...

Does anyone have any pro's or con's on the CDM 8900? Does it have email capabilities?

Does anyone know if this phone will have the "National Access" w/ Verizon Wireless? I was looking at the CDM8900 and it does not come with National Access from VZW.

I have had quite a few cell phones and the one I always loved the most was the Motorola Star Tak. I have the LG6000 which I really like (it has the same menu feel as the star tak) but would love to go back to Motorala (I never liked their newer phones). I hope that this one would "win" me back. I only sign up for one year service with Verizon just so I don't have to wait long to try some of these new phones. I hope that this does come out in March as my contract runs out in July and the phone will go down in price then.

Like many others, I am frustrated with waiting for the V810. I have seen other threads saying it will be out in April; however, I just received this from Motorola customer care. I hope that it is true because I can't take the wait any longer!
