Motorola V810
Looks Good?
I have had quite a few cell phones and the one I always loved the most was the Motorola Star Tak. I have the LG6000 which I really like (it has the same menu feel as the star tak) but would love to go back to Motorala (I never liked their newer phones). I hope that this one would "win" me back. I only sign up for one year service with Verizon just so I don't have to wait long to try some of these new phones. I hope that this does come out in March as my contract runs out in July and the phone will go down in price then.

I love the 6000. The menus work exactly the way I like them to, the voice recognition is excellent. The only negative about this phone (and I think it is a big one) is that you cannot adjust the amount of time that the keys stay lit. This is really a problem at night (I can't understand why they did not make this adjustable - some say it was to conserve the batteries but that is nonsense as it is more important to see the keys at night then to have to recharge more often). The pictures from the camera part are not great (nor are they on any other phone) but I see the camera as a novelty not a necessity.
