HTC Tilt 8925 / TyTN II

Does anyone know when Windows 6.1 professional will be released and will the Tilt haev an upgrade available for it? Thanks for the help.

First let me say that the Tilt rocks! Love this phone.

I need some help here. I converted some of my existing music files into ring tones. The service I used (mobile17.com) converted the file into a MPEG Layer 3 Audio. I then placed the file in \Windows\Rings folder.

For some reason it will not play. It comes back with following message "The file 'file name' cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. if the problem persists, try reinstalling or restoring this file"

The stock ringtones are Windows Media Audio files.

Any idea on how I can get my files to play as ringtones? Thanks!

My car (and my wifes) has an auxiliary input for use with IPods, etc. I would like to plug my tilt into my car to play my music, but I can't seem to find a mini-usb to male aux plug. Does anyone know where one of these can be found?

Been reading about this phone on here and on ATT's forums on their site, seems like a great device overall. I understand the win mo OS is probably a little more figety than BB, but the features list is non-stop, so to speak. I am cosidering a wi-fi phone and like this option better than the BB 8820, but may be missing something. Anyone, is there an overall reason I should avoid this phone over the BB 8822? The ratings on here are much lower...Thanks!

I'm wanting to upgrade my wifes phone to a HTC Tilt however Im unable to access her works OWA from INTERNET explorer like I can her HTC 8125. I tried a 8525 and it worked fine as well. When I type in the owa site the page for her username and password come up. After typing that in it goes to open the owa page. It never opens it and stays white. I also tried a Palm treo 750 and a Blackjack with the same results. Does anyone know whey the 8125,8525 would work fine and not the new Tilt?

I have an AT&T Tilt unlocked and am using it for T-Mobile. The phone works great with the exception of a few things. What do I need to do in order for my Internet and MMS messages to work?

Also does anyone know of any shortcut for text messaging? It seems that you have to go through so many steps to start a text.

OK, anyone else having this problem, when I try to use the call history function, the phone pad stays in the background and I cannot read any of the history data. When I scroll, the data does not clear fast enough and all i end up with is a jumbled mess. HELP

I can't get Youtube to work on this phone. I thought all 3G devices could visit youtube.com and watch videos, since they are capable of supporting streaming video....

I have downloaded it twice and hasn't worked yet. First time, said I needed to install a new file. So, I deleted it and reinstalled, now says need data coveage even though I am connected to edge and have a wifi signal.

I am getting frustrated with the gps on the tilt - hasn't worked yet!

will an 8GB work?

for those that are having problems with wifi...i finally figured it out

1. people on here are having problems disabling 3g or edge when on wifi...if you go under wireless manager and disable "the tilt icon with two arrows" it temporary gets disabled then re-enables after a minute or so... the reason why it re-enables att/blackberry edge/3g network is because the phone needs to communicate to att's server/blackberry server.. you have to disable the data in another program

2. go under windows-settings-system-blackberry-status when under that setting, click "suspend" this will permantely stop any edge/3g service you then can access wifi and not worry about it connecting to the network thus, utilizing the wifi feature in its full capab...

I just go this phone and i am unsure how to install Google maps on this phone.... Any help or links to a walk through would be appreciated

I might get this phone, but I would like to find outmore about the GPA capabilities. I do not want to pay $10 a month for GPS, and i do not want to pay for a data plan. Do I have any options in terms of buying or using GPS without paying the $10 monthly fee and without paying for ATT's wireless data network? Thanks.

Has anyone had problems with installing 3rd party interfaces which make it look like HTC's? I haven't tried it yet.. just wanted to know if there were any problems with the process and whatnot.

Should i get a fitted case for this phone, or has anyone had any experience with the invisible shield system?
