Question on AT&T tilt 8925 tethering capability

Does 8925 come with the application like "Internet sharing" on 8525? or in any other form that can be used for tethering.

I am currently using 8525 to connect PCs while I am traveling. I like the extra from 8925 but don't want to lose that capability.

Thanks in advance if someone can verify that.

Torn

🙄 I was wondering if someone could help me out, I'm in need of a new phone, as of right now I have the ppc 8125 with cingular, now att. It's about time for an upgrade but I'm having trouble deciding between the iPhone and this phone the HTC tilt 8925.

I like the iPhone b/c it's a cool phone and it's ahead of it's time. But even with the software updats that were just put out, it still lacks features that I like, for example custom ringtones, games, voice dialing, and mms msg.. (yes I do use those features on my current phone)

I know that with the 8925, I'm already familer with how it works and it's seems to be a nice upgrade.

If someone out there has had the chance to own both phones could I have your opinions. Thanks a bunch. :...

Does anyone ave an idea where one can get the cool looking black display that you see on the HTC Ty TN II / Tilt. It is black and has a cool looking layout and time display etc. If anybody knows where one can get this I would appreciate the input.

Premier pricing??

On my premier website, the pricing is listed as:

Price Calculation
Base Price
$999.99

Company Discount
-$499.99

Web Discount

Your Price*
$399.99

Other people have mentioned $299 after discounts for a two year agreement. Does this seem off?

Where is Verizon on this stuff?

I am a Verizon customer and am so annoyed that every other provider is delivering new smartphones and PDA phones - anyone want to sway me to switch networks?

HTC Tilt vs. Nokia N95

I really like the Tilt but will still wait for the N95 US version with AT&T. Keyboard is not an issue for me, but the size is... 🙂

AT&T Version Lacks Features

👿
So there is now a couple of videos and reviews online showing the AT&T version of the HTC Tilt 8925 (all posted in the last day or two).

It seems that in the final version TouchFLO and the HTC Home Screen has been removed! We all knew that the front facing camera would be gone but why the TouchFLO and HTC Home screen. In my opinion this kills the need to move from a 8525 or iPhone.

Business Card Scanner? & blog

Anyone have details on how this works? On this link: http://www.htc.com/product/03-product_tytn_II .htm# , it shows this phone features a business card recognition software. Would you take a picture of the card & convert through ocr?

I'm looking to replace my HP 6515 but don't want to loose any features, GPS especially! I laugh when I see people with a Treo / Blackberry & a separate GPS device. Let's not even talk about the iPhone, since when were music players in a phone anything to go crazy about? I had a Nokia 6230 in MID 2005 with a media player!! Excellent marketing, yes, but what about the rest of us who look for details, features & don't get caught up in what's popular?! The answer seems to be the 8925

There doesn't seem t...
