As an owner of one, I'd have to say yes and no to everything you commented on. I do find it quite handy, and it can definately do a lot, I'm overall very pleased with it. However, I think there may be some exaggerations on it. The screen yes, it bright and colorful, but it's just a normal screen, it doesn't look like the sharo TM-150's which is 1.3 megapixel both for the screen and camera. However, it's not shoddy in the least. Javascript is like applets and pop-up windows. Sometimes you don't want them anyway, but sometimes you do. For the most part it doesn'tg et in your way, at least not to me. The browser on the device is not lightning fast lol. The way it's designed to accomodate it's method of navigation takes another step in translating web pages so it is actually slower than some other devices. Then again, it is not below par. Just average. Overall, it can do a little of everything. Enough to be practical, but enough to be fun, too. It's not meant to be an expensive top of the line pda with all the bells and whistles. Again, I'm very satisfied with mine. Besides the minor gripes, the performance and reliability of it seem to be outstanding.

As far as the hacking thing, I'm absolutely baffeled. I'm sure because of the sensitivity of the case that there is more information that hasn't been released and nobody except the investigation team knows all details. For all we know she could have left the thing sitting out somewhere and it got snatched long enough for someone to flip it open and say hmmm let's e-mail some stuff to me so I can post it on the internet. All we can do is speculate until more facts are released. As far as unlocking it-do you have T-Mobile service currently? If so and you've been with us more than 90 days (assuming you haven't gotten another unlock code within that time, as it's "one unlock code per 90 days per active line of service) we can provide you the code for free. If not, then you can try some places like www.unlockitnow.com, ebay, or even some dealers (which I don't know) who may have the necessary programs to unlock it.

Paris Hilton? Not being responsible? That's blasphemy. :o I am a little concerned that this is the second time someone has gotten secured information from T-mo. Last time someone from the Secret Service and a lot of buisness customers had information about their accounts taken or viewed. Not great for bidness.

It would be pointless to unlock it. An unlocked phone isn't able to use the internet.

When you take it to another carrier, that is.

Sure it can. I used my T-mo N-gage on cingular, I just had to set up a new internet profile. It actually works pretty well, except where there's no 850 towers.

I agree, it was a piece of junk, but I got it for $20 and got 5 games. Cheaper than a gameboy.

No, the sidekick/sk2 doesn't have BT. We really don't know exactly how her information was obtained, it's a very sensitive case , so they aren't releasing much information. For all we know, she left it sitting out somewhere long enough to let someone pick it up and flip it open and say hmmm lets forward some stuff to my e-mail so I can post it on the internet. There are other rumors that someone got onto her account online by guessing the security question for "forgot password?" feature. They have also claimed that it was an easy question. So, officially nobody knows. All we can do right now is speculate. Anything else you may hear right now is probably just rumors. Nothing conclusive has been said officially.
