Just a quick note:
I don't see this phone being released anytime before the Christmas season, it wouldn't make sense. Besides, the 7000 came out in June.
In "Digit Dial" Mode, How Say "Star" for "*82" Calls
In Digit Dial mode, have not been able to successfully say "star" and have the phone recognize it when I have to dial "*82" to preceed a phone number (I have a blocked private cell number). So I cannot dial such phones via Digit Dial. "Star" is not a "train" the phone selection (only numbers) for Digit Dial. Anyone know how to do this? Thanks.
(note, I only saw a thread on Voice Dial and programming *611 or *86, but those are different).

I can't tell who you're responding to but you're right...note that you can also pair in "handsfree" mode (rather than "headset" mode) by holding the MFB and the up-vol button together until the light stays blue. Only I can't get the extra functions to work with the V710. :(

Mine works ok.....
again, you have to hold the voice reocord button throughout. don't forget to save it using the menu.
Contrary to another post, there's no way to let go of the button and keep recording
unfortunately as mentioned previously, they've only allowed 2 minutes of all the memory on this phone for voice notes....which means you need keep erasing old ones. As far as I know, there's no way to xfer these to a pc or send them
