In Nextel you have to sign, an agreement, and a service addendum. and forget about ID's if their not clear and valid (valid id's being a very narrow criteria) then we simpily cannot activate the line, even if the customer has an existing accout. On a side note.... you ever get a customer that gets mad because we need their SSN to activate?

Re: iCal syncing problems...

i think i have fixed a similar problem - in my case my appnts were pushed forward several hours. after multiple trial and error attempts, here is what worked: 1) master reset on phone (it was only 1 day old in my case so nothing much to loose). 2) upon restart, when it prompts to set the time zone, click "cancel". 3) set the time zone to GMT 4) set the time to the actual GMT time (not your time) 5) set the time zone to your specific time zone. in my case this was GMT-7hr 6) turn off the auto time set thing 7) add the 1 hour summertime daylight savings. this worked for me. note that when i originally started the phone would set the time to GMT+7 hours + 1 hour summertime. this would result in the clock appearing to be correct on the phone, but when i would use isync, all appointments on the phone were off.
