Rich, your opinion of the Samsung Galaxy Note
Do you think that manufacturers are going to continue the trend of these 'hybrid,' half-tablet, half-phone devices? Do you think there is consumer demand for these products? At some point, do you think that our wireless devices will merely be tablets with phone capabilities for which we use Bluetooth headsets?
I appreciate the feedback. :)
Re: Rich, your opinion of the Samsung Galaxy Note
There's certainly some market for that kind of device. Whether they take over the market depends purely on how many people buy them this year.

Re: So what sorts of comments have customers been saying about the Galaxy Note?
One of my clients has one. Seems more like a trendy device that will fall out of favor quickly. You look like an idiot holding it to your face and it's still not big enough to work as a reasonable tablet.
That said, it's got an impressive display and is fast as the dickens.

I hear it's too big for one handed navigation.

Re: So what sorts of comments have customers been saying about the Galaxy Note?
I wouldn't go that far, but the thing is huge. It's something that's great in theory, horrible in practice.
Re: Is 4G Coming to US Cellular Late 1st Quarter? Any Idea of Phones Being Tested?
Just a quick note... The Aviator is NOT a Galaxy S II phone. Its not even a dual core processor. Its basically the Mesmerize (Galaxy S I) with a 4G radio in it.
The S II and the Electrify are faster better processing speed phones.
Reasons: Verizon and ATT / Sprint have larger Single band blocks of spectrum to run their LTE networks on. Because of this, they have been able to launch faster. However.. This also prevents roaming on other networks with their single band 4G radios.
Samsung has agreed to develop the worlds first chipset with a Quad Band 4G radio with US Cellular.
