How do you transfer/load/install them to your phone?
Do you have a storage card?
One thing that you could (should?) do is to open the phone's file manager and select Options, scroll to "File Browser Settings" and un-check all "Hides".
Then go to the Windows folder, click soft key for "List View" and scroll to "jmm.exe" (this is the Java Midlet Manager).
NOTE that when you un-check the "Hides" it takes a while for the phone to load the list as well as having to scroll to the needed file.
Once you find the file click Menu, Create Shortcut and then scroll to Windows, Start Menu, Accessories and then click Done.
You will now have an icon to launch the midlet manager in your Accessories folder and will be able to utilize this easily - if you like you can also add a Speed Dial to the shortcut icon so that you can pull it up quickly.
As far as where your installed apps are - go back to the file manager and do a search for .jad and .jar files on the phone.
You may first need to App-unlock your phone before installing anything that is not registered with Microsoft.
Try Surreal Networks, Howard Forums and XDA Developers and, please, do a lot of reading!
Lastly, after any install, hack or mod you should always reboot your phone.

whats funny is that sprint has about 225,000 gross additions every three months but they net a loss of about 750,000 to 850,000 after everything is done...
Side Note:
Nextel hasn't posted a net or gross of anything for two years now....
T-Mobile has an average gross of 1.2 million and they net about 900,000 to a million every three months.

If you have a phillips head screw driver you can pop the case open and disconnect the battery and reconnect it.
Note- I wouldn't recommend doing this unless you have a spare to swap it into. It's not that it's hard or complicated to do but the Upstage is probably not the first disassembly you should try.
