Changing LEDs on Nok 3590 & 5165

Hey.

I'm getting fed up of the greenish-yellow LEDs on my phone, and I'd like to cram some other LEDs, maybe red, orange or blue - hell anything but yellow and green - on my phone and my bro's.

I know there are some good "how-to" guides out there, but that's something I just don't want to risk doing myself. I already did some soldering... but never with such small components.

I know NokiaLight offers the service... but they've been undergoing "maintenance" for a suspiciously long amount of time... so, anyone of you know of any places or people that could do it? I'm in Canada (Quebec, to be more precise)

Making wallpapers that work? FRUSTRATED

I am a Cingular customer using a Nokia 6061. I'm trying to make my own wallpapers to use on this phone, but every time I download an image, the phone ALWAYS resizes it to 118x___(the height varies).

I've tried using funformobile, tagtag, and my own webspace, but this always happens, and when I apply the wallpapers they never fill the entire screen, leaving an ugly white border. I've tried making the wallpapers' dimensions the size of the screen, the size of the wallpapers that came on the phone, and just other random sizes, and tried different formats, but the outcome is always the same.

While looking for an answer I've found that a lot of people have this problem, and noticed that Cingular's Image Composer seems to be the only way to ...

Verizon RAZR v3m.....card + ringtones...

Well heres what i have so far....I figured out that the type file is a .qcp for a voice recording......
I can move the recording to my card.... so i figured id make my own qcp file using wavepad to convert mp3 to wave then used purevoice to make the .qcp file...
I then copied the file to the card in the root where the phone stored the voice recording file.....
I put the card back in the phone turned it on and much to my surprise the file was in my music list....
However.... when i click options.... on the phone i dont get the option to use it as a ringtone like the origional voice file could be....
any verizon employee give me sum help......I hope we figure this out... i thought i was gettin close......

LOL...

Installing Centennial Software on Cingular RAZR HELP HELP

I found a pink RAZR phone in a parking lot this past weekend, and my girlfriend has Centennial, this phone was a Cingular phone and I went to have it switched and they said they can but it will cost a lot and have to send the phone to Motorola. Does anyone have a program out there that can re-write the software from Cingular to Centennial so we can use this new phone?? She has a small POS Samaung and the rep said the SIM card would work but that it will be in roaming the whole time even if we can call Cingular and get it unlocked. If anyone has some information for me I would appreciate it. I have the IMEI: 359820003241484

Thanks

Upgrading to Motorola Razr from LG VX6000.

I've got lots of ringtones and pictures on my old phone. Is there any way to transfer my tones and pix to the new one without having to repurchase?

Motorola Razr V3 Wallpaper Quality Help

OK, so I am just getting into this, but I use Motorola Phone Tools 4 to transfer my custom ringtones and pictures to my cell.

I know it's best to save my pictures as a .gif, and resize it to 176x220 (or at least crop it to the same ratio percentage).

But is there anything else I can do to maintain a better image quality? Why is it that .jpegs that came packaged with the phone are up to 54.6 KBs, but the images I transfer are shrunken to only 7.0 KBs? Is there something else I need to use instead of Motorola Phone Tools, or something I can unlock to fix this?

Even the Sushi image that comes with the phone is only about 17 KBs, but the quality is so much better :/

TIA

Have you heard of this?

A friend of a friend has a phone, I believe it was a Nokia, maybe the 6170?, anyway, when people would call his phone the ringtone would be what the people were saying, like you know when you calling someone and the phone is ringing?, well whatever you are saying while it's still ringing is what his ringtone is, it was pretty cool, I would like to know if I have the right model number, or if you know any other phones with this capability. Thanks
