This is a question I have been trying to answer for a while. I haven't ever downloaded any to my phone, I am just sort of curious as to how many kb I would be charged for the average mp3 or music tone.

Hey do you guys think the vcast music update will mess with the way you can add ringtones through Bitpim? the update converts audio to wma. Will Midi still work? I'm getting one in the mail soon and don't know if it will work, somone help.

My Problem is when I receive Flash- or Broadcast Messages (the ones that pop-up on your Display the second you receive them), they disappear after a few seconds without any interaction.
1. Is there any way I can modify the timeout so I'm able to read these messages.
2. Since these Messages make a special Sound (not the one I've set-up for normal SMS), is there a way I can change the Sound?

speedtv.com has a large selection of very cool auto/racing related ringtones. Unfortunately no way to order them for my verizon phone.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I could acquire any of these to install onto my phone.

Is there anyway to transfer the games I bought with my old phone to my new one? My old phone was a Nokia 6820 and I'm rather attached to Bejeweled and Lemonade stand ;). My new phone is a Samsung D357. I've been able to send myself my downloaded ringtones, but the games are still stuck on the old phone. Would suck to have to pay for them again.

I currently own a Motorola V3. I recently received a ring tone I was intrested in using on my phone. I attached it to an email (gmail) and sent it to my cellular device. At first I sent it as an .mid file. The phone received the attachment and promptly informed me that the attachment was dropped. I then sent it as an .MP3 extension, because supposedly the V3 can in fact read .mp3's.

However when I received the attachment on my phone I had 2 messages.

The first message I got stated that I would need to download the message. It read ...

" From: _______@gmail.com, Subject: None, Size _____ Bytes, Expires on: _____pm 1/12/06, Received _____pm 1/9/06. "

I tried to download the message, which always initiates but always fail...

Got for xmas a 128mb mini sd card for my phone, I can get about 18-20 songs on it, problem is for some reason when I go to play the songs, it will only "show" and allow me to play ten songs on it. no rhyme or reason which ten it uses either. Anybody know if it has to be a certain tag on it, or if I am doing something wrong. any help would be greatly appreciated.

I just bought the lg 8100. Went to best buy and bought a card and reader came home and downloaded music on it, plugged it in and tried to play it and...NOTHING. I called Verizon and was told that you could only download them from VCast. The rep the turned me on to this site and told me that there is a way to hack the phone so you can download and play mp3's from my computer. Please HELP.

I just have a quick question.

I own a motorola v3 Razr, and I'm trying to download some videos onto the phone.

When I try to open up MPT software, it says to "connect my phone to my computer using a usb cable." when i do it, the program says "one moment while setup configures your phone" and never actually finishes.

Any idea how I can fix this? thanks for reading.

I am thinking about purchasing a face plate for my new Samsung SPH-a740. (Its the relatively new samsung one with the blue face on it). I see that many places online sell faceplates for this phone. Ebay particularly has a large selection. However, i dont even know if you can take the blue face off this phone? Does anyone know if this phone is novelty face plate compatible? I examined the phone and can't seem to find where you would be able to take the orginal off to change faces? 😕
