Ok at this point whoever else has this phone is wondering how the hell to transfer files from there pc to the phone. Some guy left infor on how to do it but it doesnt work. I dont know what i am doing wrong, but maybe someone can enlighten me on how to do it PLEASE because right know i have this phone and it only good for wireless headsets. There has to be someone out there that know how i can transfer files, like images or music to my phone.

Copy a URL of a mp3 or mp3 clip off the internet, (walmart.com) for example. then send yourself a txt message of the mp3 link and download the mp3 clip to your phone. make sure you have internet service on your phone, you will need this for it to work.

Ok, so here is the situation with which I have hit a brick wall.

I purchased a usb phone cable for my Sanyo 7400. It came with only driver software. I purchased some software online for extracting ringtones,phone books,etc. I also have a Sanyo 4920 (compatible with same cable) and it seems as though I cannot extract my ringers from one and place in the other with the software I purchased. I feel like I wasted 35 dollars.
I'm looking for any program, preferably starting at free and ending at cheap, which will allow me to do said feature. I have some custom ringtones that I would like to sync to the other phone but I just can't seem to do it.

Anybody who can offer up some answers?

I just got off the phone with Cingular. It seems Jamster and other ring tone and game providers are billing me monthly for services.

I was charged $5.99 for a couple of months .

For what services? I do not know and Cingular said they did not know, but I would have to call Jamster to remove the monthly billing.

Cingular would not refund the charges since they did not bill me.

Jamster was a recording that said after I put my number in that they would stop billing me.

can someone please direct me to a source for normal, old fashioned ringtones. the kind that don't make you blush when they ring in a business setting. i have a motorola v551 and i'm in google hell trying to find something with a little dignity. btw, i'm a total tech virgin--no understanding of mp3 midi, etc.

ive had the a700 by samsung for about 1 month well i have the data link cable but no software can any one tell me where i can go to download software or do i need software i am relly lost please help me

I tried using webjal to load some ringtones and all I could get were errors. Before you ask, yes, everything is updated, patched, and fully functional on other phones (i860). I was just wondering if the program is incompatible with the new phone. If anyone has any suggestions on other programs or some kind of fix for this, let me know.

Would someone please either tell me how to install the games I have downloaded for my i730 into the phone using WebJal or direct me to a tut?

When I try it using WebJal, which does wallpaper and ring tones just fine, it does not see an installable file. Yes, both the jar and jad file is in the folder I browse to.

Just wondering if anyone knows any good tricks for unlocking things or changing things on the e815. I am not very up to date with all this technology so if someone could help me out and point me in the right direction it would be great.

I just recently purchased the LG-VX8100 and this phone is blocked from the Wal-Mart trick converting the MP3 to MIDI file. The 8100 does not allow you to save as a Ringtone but gives you the option to save as a Sound. By saving this as a sound, you are not able to set the file as your Ringtone. Does anyone know how to set as your Ringtone? I know this phone supports it but cannot figure it out. Please help!!

So as a Verizon Employee I am mad. I am sick of them charging a arm and a leg for a phone that has lees features then its little brother the 8000. Voice record can no longer be used as tones, Battery life still sucks, and the Mini-SD is completely locked up. This is a joke. They market it as one of the first phones to have the Mini-SD. But why?! you can't back up your phone book, you can't keep tones, you can't keep videos, no music..Oh I'm sorry later this year they will realease "music on demand" Yay. I bet like every other option they realease it will be a disappointment. "V-cast is updated every hour!" BS. I Love the coverage, but phones are a joke. I have a question. My v600 is not looking too pretty these days and I wanted to get it back to its former self with a few upgrades of course.

Does it require professional installation. It says that the bezel is adhesive. I don't get it, does that mean that I can just peel the old one off and stick a new one up there. If anyone has any help, tips or has even done this before, I would really appreciate a response.
