😳 Is there any test I could find online to help me. I want base info only. Has anyone done tests on specific phones to show differing input/output in RF?

I am having a devil of a time assigning my .qcp ring tones to individual callers on the Treo 650. 👿

I can get the ones that come with the handset to play just fine for different callers, but with the ones I downloaded? No luck. Is it even possible, or did Sprint somehow cripple one of their flag ship phones?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello everyone. I am new here, so please forgive me if this topic has already been brought up. I currently have a Handspring Treo 300 and while it is ok, I really want a Blackberry. Does anyone know if there are plans in the near future for Blackberry devices to work on the Sprint network?

Ported a customer from cingular to alltel. thecs say port completd succsesfully at 12:12 today. When I call his ported cingular #(new alltel #)from bell south land line i get a messege saying due to net work difficulties your call can not be placed. when I call from cingular store demo call drops- phone says call faild. When alltel tech support calls his phone they get through no problem. When I call from nextel phone call gets through no problem. Any body ever seen this.

hey does anyone know how to change the flaceplates on an SET630 or T637? I cant figure out how to get the back top part off.

Didn't browse through all of the threads on here; So I'm sorry if this might be a redundant question. I'm going to be in the market soon for a new phone and I'm really liking what I see from Samsung in the A970 and also from LG in the 8100 (both supposedly to be released decently soon). I now have a two year old LG 6000 and have loved it. Is there any kind of website out there that compares the two brand of cell phones? I've heard a lot of good things about both brands and to me it sounds like a dead heat in quality and reliability. That's the only reason I'm trying to find a significantly reliable source for product comparison. All feedback is appreciated. Thanks.

This idea fascinates me. I could not imagine, in the ages of rotary dial phones, that I would have been walking around 25 years later with a little, shiny, pretty little box with which I can do all the cool things I can do now. (wireless communications, pictures, games, etc.)

Does anyone know why Sprint does not yet have more MIDP 2.0 phones? MIDP 2.0 has been talked about for several years now, and yet it's barely caught on yet. Why is this?

will my siemens s66 play my napster .wav files if i download them on to the memory stick? I know it dosnt support mp3 playback but id like to beable to play some type of music on it and id like to know if i couldbefore i go and waste money on the data cable. thanks

Well, currently, I am under a T-Mobile plan. Yes I know T-Mobile as well as Cingular and a few other companies don't have Push-To-Talk yet, but I was interested in the Nokia N90 and the Nokia 7270.

a.Would PTT work without a PTT plan?
b.Even if two people were with the same company [i.e. both T-Mobile], and had the same exact phones, would they be able to PTT with each other?
c.PTT with other phones with PTT capabilities?

I was just wondering about those few questions. If anyone has any answers or info, please let me know. Thanks! =]

I lost my phone last week 😢 and all the numbers in it. I then remembered that I'd saved a backup on my old phone. While the SIM card was lost with my new phone, I have a backup.arc file on the MMC card.
I have extracted the files off the MMC card onto my PC. Can anybody let me know how to extract the phone book from this file? I have tried extracting the file with Winzip and opening it with notepad, both with no joy.

Any ideas?

I really need some opinions, I'm stuck with this choice. V710 or the Razor V3. someone please help me with what you think is the best option on a 1 yr contract. (please keep in mind coverage, cost, and phone features.(I.E. v710 has insurance, v3 doesn't.)It would be very appreciated.

My girlfriend got this phone for me on Ebay last week. I got it put in my T Mobile Sim Card, T Mobile is my cell phone carrier, and it worked perfect. The other day I was trying to send and receive picture messages. But get a message saying " unanble to download message. " I called Motorola and they said the MMS and web browser will not work cause this phone is not supported by T Mobile, and that it was not sold to US markets. They said there is no software avail to make the MMS or browser work.
My question is there any solution to this problem ?

I have a go phone and my net hasn't worked for 2 months. I have a SE Z500A since April? I work for cingular in an outsource call center as a csr. I cannot look into my account cause I'll get fired. I have called cust care and the net is active in care and snooper. I work w/ prepaid at cingular so I know full where were I rank w/ the tech dept so I want to ask you guys before I talk to them about my account. Is there ANYTHING that can be done by the tech dept to get it working again. Or is it not even a priority? I not trying to bash or anything just wandering. Regular csr like me can't do anything more. I have power cycled, hard shocked and have updates to my sim. Any more suggestions? No water damage or been dropped, etc.
