ok, i know this exists

Is there a way to convert my moto RIZR into a remote control for the TV?

is there a software download? a hack? something?

my phone already does most other things and i figure this is one of the only things stopping my from marrying my phone.

travel stand for 8525 - I have plans

I recently got my 8525 and found that resting the phone on the desk or table and trying to type on the slide out keyboard was a problem, especially with the glare of the overhead lights on the screen. 😎 I feel this is such a problem, that's the reason the Tilt came out - to give stability on the keyboard and stop the glare on the screen. 😕

I fiddled around and came up with a folding plastic pocket stand that is sturdy, secure, strong and stable. It's about the size of a business card when folded and about 1/4 inch thick folded. It's made out of plastic, two tiny cabinet hinges and one small black binder clip with an extra piece of string. You will need a hot glue gun to make it but it's fairly easy to make. 😉

If anyone's inte...

Sanyo Katana 6600 drivers needed

I bought a USB cable so I can download my photos to my computer. Trouble is XP won't accept the drivers on the CD that came with the phone even though it has XP drivers on it. The computer recognizes the phone as a "Data interface". When I try to install the drivers off the CD it gives me an error telling me Windows couldn't find a driver for the phone.

I've been searching for hours looking for drivers for this phone.

Can anyone help me? Thanks.

bluetooth car kit bluetooth speaker phone comparisons

Can anyone suggest a good link to compare bluetooth car kits or bluetooth speaker phones.

I like the idea of having a hands free speaker clipped to my car's visor and want to find a good one (within reason on price)

problems with micro sd and lg venus

I just got a 2 gb micro sd card (sandisk) for my lg venus, but I can't get the sd cover to close over the card. I'm assuming, since the cover is attached to the phone, that it should be able to snap back in when the card is inserted. (It makes that little "snapping" motion when it goes in, so I know the card is in all the way...at least, I think it is... 😕 ) Anyone else having this problem????

Kyocera Bluetooth Problem

I have a Kyocera Excursion phone and a Kyocera Bluetooth Car Kit. 👿 I keep losing connection with the car kit. The phone still shows connected and the car kit sometimes shows connected and sometimes not. If I disconnect and reconnect it will work for a while then doesn't. I have deleted the profile, taken out the battery, etc. Nothing keeps it working. I have not tried another phone yet. Any clue as to if the problem is the phone or the car kit. I hate to have the car kit ripped out if it's the phone. Thanks!

BT headset w/large LCD?

I'm looking for a BT headset to use in the car. What I'm imagining is keeping the unit near the shifter and being able to see the LCD screen easily after picking it up. Then it'd be easy to pop on my ear or around my head or neck, whatever.

I've had a tough time with the on-ear units, so that's not my first choice, although if one is easy on/off and comfortable, I could do that.

Anyone seen a goos solution here?

TIA

I bought a 4gb Sandisk microSDHC card for my Env.
I can't format it on my phone. I tried copying the folders from my 1 gb card (which works fine)to my 4gb card and it won't recognize any of the media in the folders. I can access the card on my pc no problem. I've read here and on Howard forums that you can use a 4gb card on the Env so any suggestions? TIA

A___________ Blue ant Z9

I just wanted to point out I just got one and they are awesome! Noise cancellation is incredible too! We tested it next to a stereo and a running vacuum cleaner. Where as I couldn't hear them because of the extra noise, they couldn't hear the vacuum or stereo. Plus, when you switch from Standard to Max noise Isolation, it speaks to you in a friendly British accent. At least I think it's British. Now if only I could get it to call me Bonds, James Bonds...

Car Holster for LG enV VX-9900

Does anyone know where I can find a holder for the enV to keep it open for navigation use? Everything I have seen is with the phone closed and with a larger screen flipped open it would be more beneficial when using the navigation system to leave it flipped open in the car. Any recommendations would be appreciated!!

Samsung Sync Plastic Vs Rubber Holdster

I just bought the samsung sync for cingular wireless, and for an extra 15$ they sold me a compatible case to go with it. When put on the case i noticed it covers the speakers, and ontop of that covers the little hole you talk into. Deciding to look online i found these 2 cases one of which is rubber
