Nokia 6133 connectivity to PC

I have a DKU-5 USB cable and driver that I had from an older Nokia 6800 phone. I used this for the purpose of sync(ing) my contacts from my PC (outlook). I want to do the same with my new phone. I have upgraded my Nokia PC suite to 6.82.22.0. Why can I not establish a connection to my phone? Do I need another cable and driver?

Rebates and Young America BIG SCAM ...... but customer care to the rescue

Here's the deal.... I got two different denial letters for my two lines. One said I didn't send in the original bar codes, and one said I didn't activate a new account....... It said it was an exisiting account and all I did was buy a new phone.... (I ported my numbers from US Cellular). lol

So when I called Young America they told me they could honor the bar code rebate becuase I did infact send in the barcodes....

HERE IS THE KICKER!!! They told me that since two rebate forms were mailed in the same envlope it violates there rules and one line would not be honored.... I laughed and said "Well is that rule stated on the rebate form?" ... I looked at the reabte form on the net and it doesn't state that anywhere.... They still said t...

T-mobil my faves question - use with non my faves phones

This might be a strange question. I have a my faves phone and account. If I wanted to use a phone that was "not my faves compatible" would the my faves still work. Is the my faves information stored within the t-mobil system and the phone only acts as a way to update the my faves list. My theory (but I could be totaly wrong) is that the only time the faves part of the phone is really necessary is when I'm changing the my faves numbers. after that it acts like any other t-mobil phone and the t-mobil system is actually keeping track of which of you calls are to a my faves number. If this is the case, then I could just swap the sim card to the my faves phone when I need to update the list and then swap it back into the phone I want to use. Or i...

T-Mobile customer care you guys suck

T-Mobile customer care is not that great. As far as answering questions they are good. They don't handle issues very well when a credit is in order. They fight tooth in nail down to the very cent. T-Mobile cusotmer care is determined not to give the cusotmer anything. Even if the credit or upgrade is deserved. T-Mobile's customer care department is overated and weak at best.

Multiple T-mobile SDA questions (SMS text, Instant messages, ring tones)

I'm trying to do a few things with my phone that I can't seem to get answers for from anyone else, so, I figured I would try the manufacturer directly. No luck. These questions are for the T-mobile SDA American version of the HTC Wizard being used through T-mobile service.

How can I transfer, via ActiveSync, the text messages I have on my phone, to my computer so I can store them on my laptop hard drive? Where are these SMS messages stored?

How can I transfer Instant Message conversations that have been saved through the Instant Message program provided from the factory for this device (powered by OZ), via the ActiveSync onto my laptop for later viewing?

How can I change my ring tones from the factory ring tones, to whatever .mp3 ...
