T-Mobile customer care you guys suck

T-Mobile customer care is not that great. As far as answering questions they are good. They don't handle issues very well when a credit is in order. They fight tooth in nail down to the very cent. T-Mobile cusotmer care is determined not to give the cusotmer anything. Even if the credit or upgrade is deserved. T-Mobile's customer care department is overated and weak at best.

Now instead of flaming CS why not tell us the situation that caused you to become pissed instead of just flaming the company.

Last Friday I called T-Mobile and requested a subsidy unlock code. I got the code and entered it into my phone and it proceeded to lock up my phone. Phone says "phone locked return for service". I called T-Mobile they told me that my IMEI was off by a digit on the request and the unlock code they gave me was wrong. They proceeded to tell me I needed to upgrade and get another phone. I asked for a discount on an upgrade they told me no because my contract is not up. They then told me that Samsung could fix this problem with a universal unlock code. Which was wrong information and when I called Samsung they told me to mail my phone in for service. I ended up having to upgrade to get a working phone.

I find this story very hard to believe. I bet you are leaving something out or exaggerating. If you came to my store with this problem I would have made sure you got an exchange.

Then u are better than most T-Mobile people I have dealt with. I did get a good deal on a nokia 6133 which meets my needs in a phone. I still will cancel my service because I can get a better deal elsewhere.

I'm pretty sure in the instructions it states if the unlock code does not work STOP because you can permanetly lock your phone. You get several attempts, and should have stopped and called T-Mobile.

Thats not my point as a consumer. That mistake is covered by Samsung's warranty on the phone. T-Mobile refused to process a warranty exchange because they did not want 2 send the phone 2 Samsung. That is what truly sucked. You are right I should have known better. I actually have worked 4 Cingular customer care since GSM was launched. I needed more minutes than what my employee plan offered.

I love how the only thing you're basing your opinion on is the lack free stuff you're getting. All of which you so deserve eh? How do i become more special than every other customer just like you?

I did not want a free phone. I wanted T-Mobile to do a warranty exchange on my phone. Get your **** right your brain is not working.

I give them credit... A law firm is taking them to court for being charged $2000+ ETF fees on crappy service saying they had service in those areas (but really didn't). T-Mo is sticking to their guns instead of just writing off the loss.

HAHAHA! I love it, lemme' get those 'Consumer Reports' and 'JD Power' dil*os on the horn. Have they ever been right on anything???? Best coverage, best customer service. Chr*st, they go to Sheboygan w/ a handful of wireless phones trying to call 611 on each and see who answers on the other line...

Yeah uh huh. Consumer reports and JD powers have never been right on anything? These fantasy statements from the Cingular fanboys serve no greater good other than to provide us T-mobes with better entertainment than a George Bush stump speech. Knocking cs and jd powers are nothing more than "reaching" and "grasping" for the idea that T-mobile realy is the poorest performer and that those who conduct these polls are on the payroll of deutsche telekom. Spare me the insane ideology that Cingular is the best of the best. Its not true and the random mocking that is so frequent of their dropped call campaign is proof from the consumers mouth not your unqualified consumer magazines.
