Wow! Your parents must be so proud. Tell me something though. How does a stolen phone turn into a phone that has not been stolen? I'm curious cause then I could steal all the phones in the world and then magically "un" steal them. I thank you....

Doesn't Tmo have a way to turn in stolen esn's or something? If it's been stolen, won't the computer stop the transfer to that phone?

GSM is different than CDMA. T-Mo doesn't have a database of stolen serial numbers. It's tougher for GSM b/c all you have to do is put your sim card in the phone rather than activate the phone on your line. They do have a blacklist of IMEI's in Europe, I've heard, but not here yet. I'm figuring it would need the compliance of all GSM carriers in the US to properly work.
