Activation...

I got an unlocked V3 that has been on T-Mobile before, and it says UNREGISTERED SIM. I know I need to activate the SIM..where do I do that? How do I find my phone on my number when I cant? Ive tried calling #NUM#, and it didnt work..besides, I cant make calls! Someone please help! Thanks! 😕 😢

use your land line and call t-mobile's 800 number.

if the sim card has been registered before then the sim card is garbage. you would need to get a new sim and a new phone number. the phone is fine but the sim is your problem

If you get the message unregistered SIM it means just that. T-Mobile has to "authorize" the SIM on their network. If T-Mobile just started service and you're getting that message on a new SIM you need to call them and ask them to check it out. 1-800-937-8997.

I used to sell them for $39.99 but you can usually get them at T-Mobile direct stores for like $25.00 I believe.

SIM cards if you need one for a legitimate reason such as yours got damaged or you lost your phone and SIM card are often free from the corporate store. If you just want an extra one they *may* charge you $20. I've never had a problem getting one for free for a legitimate reason.

All SIMs are basically the same as they've been since at least mid-2000. The only difference is some of the older SIMs were coded for "old" networks before the network was consolidated to 310-26(0) in which case some SIMs coded to other networks would show "roaming" even though there really is no roaming in the US if you have a national pla...
