With Verizons announcement today of their going the At&t route(GREED), I'm hoping that U.S. Cellular sees this more as an opportunity to expand and not exploit. This is a chance I think for U.S C to pick up disgruntled customers from the other "Big 2" with our value packed plans- including unlimted data! If ever there was a moment to start improving on that 6.5 to 7.0mil customer base this has got to be it. No matter how fantastic their arsenal of cutting edge smartphones are, why would you even consider going with Verizon or Att or any other carrier for that matter who is going to cripple your usage of the internet, while still PADDING THEIR POCKETBOOKS! What is it?

I have been with US Cellular for quite some time now. Until the price wars and all the unlimited plans from the Crickets & Boosts, US Cell has always had the best plans. I realize the phones are a step behind, but they are way better than a few years ago. One thing I never had to worry about was the service. However, it seems over the last few months the service is horrid. I power cycle, *228, battery pull, phone is in mint condition, etc etc. I realize the occassional house, basement, building or whatnot, but this is ridiculous and it's not just me. I would say since May of this year I am dropping calls and getting no service more than ever. Blackberrys seem to be the worst with this. I (and friends & family) have contacted tech support and...

Saw one of these yesterday, played with it for a while and WOW! What a phone! I am sure it is a bit premature but what are the odds that USC will get the Torch? Or shall I rephrase that and say, will USC get the Torch in the next 5 years? Being a techy kind of guy it kills me the sit here and watch VER and ATT come out with GREAT phones!! Not to mention having my friends rub it in!!

Anybody else notice the large amount of turnover lately??? I don't remember the last time I saw the same salesperson in a location (one of the reasons I left for VZW) & everybody looks frantic lately what's up out there USCC guys????

Will the HTC Desire be better than the HTC Touch Pro 2

1. Check your bill EVERY month and make sure you understand every single charge on it, even if it doesn't change month to month.

2. Understand that YOU are responsible for keeping track of your usage (voice, internet, texting, etc). Your provider is not going to hold your hand when it gives you many options to do it yourself.

3. If you have a problem with your phone, do NOT call for support while talking on it! Make sure you have a way to get on a different phone, even a pay phone (calling 1800-xxx-xxxx is free on pay phones).

4. When on the phone with a rep, act professional when they are trying to help you. They are people too. The nicer you are, the more willing they are to help you and the easier it is to help. Do not rant ...

I am a new hire with US Cellular and I am curious as to why this phone, out of all the others, is not able to access MobiTV. I contacted our internal support and I haven't heard a word on it. Our website shows that it is able to access it but MobiTV shows it will not work with the phone. This is the "upgrade" over the delve, and the delve had access....

I just don't get it, help! I do have all the other easyedge features for the phone. I am basically scrapping it up to documentation on our website being wrong but not sure really where to go with it. Thanks!

I picked up a Samsung Acclaim after one was returned to our store. Since MyContactsBackup is preloaded to the phone, and it's copyrighted to the first number set up with the app, I am unable to download my contacts. Does anyone know how to delete a preloaded app so I can re-download it and get my contacts?

I'm thinking about switching from Sprint to USCC and wanted to see if the 800MHz system was a security risk. I remember a friend that was able to pick up calls on a scanner a few years back. Have they been secured? Any other issues I should think about before switching?

I just read that htc will be putting out a desire hd with 4.3 screen and 8 mp camera is this tru and if so will we be getting it.

As all of you probally already know USCC has followed suit with AT&T and VZW in re working our Unlimited plans. We also offer the $69.99 unlimited voice individual, and the $119.99 Unlimited Voice for 2 lines...the National 1000 promo does not require a contract ext either. Hope this creates some excitement.

I have the Motorola Quantico and few the last few weeks if i try to send a text while roaming it always fails. I have a friend that has a razor and it does the same thing? Is this normal? They used to send while roaming?

Also my videos will not play any idea on how to fix that?

U.S. Cellular We're thrilled to announce that the new BlackBerry Bold 9650 will be coming to U.S. Cellular stores in early August!
