If I have a line on a family plan right now, can I cancel just the one line off of it before the contract is up? And if so is there still the charge for that? and how much?

I'm considering buying a new phone and have narrowed it down to the Motorola Crush or the LG Banter UX265. The most important items for me are quality of calls, reception and having a qwerty. I don't care about the Internet or smart phone features. Any comments on these two phones would be helpful.

I went with the HTC Touch Pro back in August. My computer runs XP, so would use MS's ActiveSync. I have done everything over the ensuing months, short of reformatting my hard drive or buying a new computer, to get the software loaded. While the phone's fun to play with, if it can't sync with my computer, it's just a toy. I have an application for my home biz that I want installed on the phone, which was the reason I went with the TP. And I'm on my second one - I had to send the first back in December because the sliding keyboard came loose and the phone didn't seem to like that. What are my chances of taking the TP back to USC and telling them that I want to switch to a Blackberry?

Anyone have any idea if U.S.Cellular is planning on updating the support for the Tour with OS 5. Not a big deal, just really missing the suretype from my prev blackberry.

Well I learned today that there is a Glitch on some Windows Mobile Phones that are showing incoming text messages dated 2016. My HTC Touch Pro 2 is affected. I am not sure what all phones are. I hope they fix this. If anyone learns of a fix please let me know.

I was wondering I got the touch pro when it came out which was no to long ago now the touch pro 2 has come out and now i want that is there any way to get it at a reduced price since my plan was just redone when i got the touch pro or am i out of luck and i will have to pay the 599 dollars.

Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself, I have been working for an authorized agent for about two years and before that I was working with a different mix of companys in the cell phone industry since I was in high school so about a total of 10 years. But i have the basic easy edge plan for US Cellular for 9.99 a month, if i got a phone like the tritan or another smartphone used from ebay or something, and tried to activate it, could i just use my existing easy edge plan? Or do i really HAVE to upgrade to 19.99 a month?

Does US Cellular buy used phones from it's customers? I know that they sell used phones, just wondering if they buy them as well. Thanks.

My contract is up in 90 days. Going to reup or go to verizon. Current high end phones don't thrill me. Does anyone know what phones uscc are planning for 2010. htc hd for example.

Is US Cellular under another company or is it a stand alone company? If it is a stand alone then why don't they have the best phones like AT&T or Verizon?

I have been with USCC for years and have recently found that you have two choices of phones.... a data phone (ie. blackberry, palm, etc.) OR a cheap penny phone.... I look at the selection of 15 phones through USCC then look at the large selection through all the other carries and I wonder why I am still a customer... ESPECIALLY since the Altell/ Verison integration

Any ideas on new phones coming to US cellular in 2010 ?

I know they test out phones before releasing them to the consumer so wondering also to if they are testing out any phones that we may see soon.
