New plans after the holidays?

Does anyone have any idea how the current plans for new customers are going to change after the holidays? I hope 7pm Nights and Weekends and PCS to PCS are here to stay as options.

Advice

Hello Mobile Phone friends.

Hope you can help. I'm currently a T-Mobile Customer, but wanting to switch over too Sprint, Manly for the 3G Network, and the new Ready Link service and the new Mobi TV. I currently have the Nokia 3650, love the Phone, it's more like a PDA. I'm interested in the Sanyo SCP-5500 / VM4500. I know I will loose some of the features I came too love on my 3650, like Blue tooth, Infrared, standard 16 MB +. I enjoy loading software / applications and I'm not sure if the SCP-5500 can handle the task, can anyone give me a few details on Memory capabilities for this unit, also does the SCP-5500 have a Real-One player, I know it takes Videos like my 3650 and has a Move Light and Flash as my 3650 does not, can you send the...

Stay away from Sprint. Read this horror story.

Bought a family plan with two phones at a local Sprint store. All was OK until one phone developed intermittent problems (powered off - stayed off even when plugged in to ac adapter). Sprint store tested and said was fine. Two days later it was dead. Yes it was an intermittent problem, but I didn't buy an intermittent cell plan! Since they could not recreate the problem - they said they could not replace it. Even though the phone was under warranty. So I had a family plan that I could not use unless I bought another phone from them. Not right. Just replace the darn phone and everyone would be happy. But that would be too easy for Sprint.

Cust service is extremely slow (try to call customer service instead of the sales line. If you're not ...

Think twice about Sprint PCS & take the LEAP of FAITH like they say.

I have been a long time Sprint PCS customer but this year has totally been nothing but problems that range from system problems to basic account information that it seems i spend more time talking to them on the phone than anything else. Despite all the problems i was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt and actually considered remaining a customer but the last straw came when no one could give me the exact date of when my contract expires. I called and talked to about 6 diff people and spend a long time on the phone with them and each one gave me a diff date of expiration. Even when i showed up to the Sprint PCS store i was yet given a 7th diff date of expiration! How diff can that be? Don't they all have the same info? Anyhow...

Wireless Service Off of Sprint's Network??

Does anyone have any good answers or experience with Sprint off network? Specifically I am referring to going north of Green Bay, WI where Sprints network ends. The reason I ask is that previously I have had service with AT&T and Cingular and their TDMA networks had coverage or roaming coverage in most areas where I travel. With Sprint, Sanyo 4900 latest PRL, I get spotty at best coverage where I previously had near perfect coverage on previous carriers. Even when I get coverage if I am driving I am prone to frequent drop-offs. I have contacted Sprint sales and engineering and they claim the 4900 is their best so far. I do love Sprints on-network coverage and call handling but the phone seems subpar off network. I spend about 4 to 5 w...

nokia 3588i

question for anyone who owns a sprint nokia 3588i!
how do you like the phone? if anyone of you knows, how is it different from the old red 3585i? i used to own a 3585i and occasionally it used to 'restart' on me without any known warning (it used to be patched up with the latest firmware/PRL updates)
i am eligible for up to $150 towards a new sprint phone being that i've been with sprint 4ever.

if you ever ran accross such a phone let me know how it stands up...i got 2000 shared mins between 3 phones for $85 with nights&weekends starting @ 7.00 P.M (3000 mins weekends) + unlimited vision

i'm aware nokias are not vision enabled but i can live with that.

if you don't like the nokia @ all what phone would you recommend...or should ...

help - using phone as a modem to access internet

I would like to access the internet using a laptop, connection cable and the phone as a modem using Sprints unlimited Vision access plan.

I have been told Sprint doesn't advertise this possibility because they want us to buy their expensive wireless cards and download at per KB data rates.

1. Are there any provisions in place for Sprint to block this or charge per KB?

2. Will minutes be deducted from my plan while using the phone as a modem through Vision?

2. Any advice on configuring and accessing the system would be greatly appreciated.

Amazon rebate for new contract - details?

So, I bought the Treo and ported my Verizon number to Sprint.

However, I'm a little concerned about the way they opened the account.

I called the phone number Amazon's pamphlet told me to call, to activate the phone. The CSR noticed that I used to have Sprint PCS service years ago, and apparently set this up as a contract renewal, rather than a fresh, from scratch customer. I'm not sure I mentioned Amazon to them during the call, although I think I did.

Amazon's policy is unclear. Sometimes it says new contract, and sometimes it says new agreement.

I am worried because without the $200 rebate, the Treo will be a very expensive phone.

I just received a bill from Sprint for $0.00. I only activated last week and they sent me this...

Sprint service in NYC, anyone know?

I am currently a T-Mobile subscriber looking to change service.
Reception (signal strength) is most important to me.

How is Sprint in the NYC and Long Island area?

How does it compare to T-Mobile or Verizon?

thanks in advance!

What's the best plan to sign up for a Treo 600?

I haven't been with Sprint in a long time and want to know if there any tricks to getting the best plan.

I ordered from Amazon, so I have to activate with Sprint to get my rebates.

I ordered 300 minutes plus Free and Clear America - isn't that the best way to take advantage of Verizon's coverage in outlying areas?

And I ordered Vision Professional package.

I don't understand why a couple of those items were more expensively priced that what I've seen discussed in these forums.

I also was going to do one year rather than two year contract. Do you think that's a good move?

Now, a question as far as phone number. When I bought a T-Mobile phone last year in Atlanta (n. Georgia) they had no problem giving me an Atlanta number ev...

Activation problem - agreement confirmation didn't recognize #

So I went through the whole adventure of porting my number from Verizon to Sprint, but then, when the live CSR switched me over to the computer to confirm my agreement, the computer didn't recognize my PCS number as valid.

What to do?

Code "7A" message from Verizon during number port - what's that?

The CSR mentioned it this morning when I called to check on the status of my port.

Some sort of request for more information, but the rep didn't know what it was.

Anybody know what that is?

How concerned should I be?
