Getting new phone

I need help!!!
I am fed up with Cingular since I can't get a signal in my house and am going with Sprint, since much of my friends and family are Sprint users. However, I am at loss on what phone. I am need just a solid no-frills phone, so Vision is not necessary. I am looking at the Nokia 3588i, the Samsung vi660 and the Sanyo 5300. Any suggestions on these 3 or any other would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Are LG mobile phones no longer carried by Sprint?

Did Sprint decide to do away with LG phones altogether? My Samsung A400 died recently, and I am using a really old phone until I can find a good new one. I'd like to get an LG, but saw none at the Sprint store.

New phones??

I currently have the Sanyo-8100 and i'm waiting for Sprint to come out with really nice new phones. I want a really tiny color phone (w/ vision but not necessarily a camera). All of the smaller phones on the Sprint PCS site are about the same size as my current phone so there isnt really a point in buying a new one now. My friend with Verizon has a phone by Samsung that is very small. Has anyone heard anything about Sprint coming out with similar phones?
Thanks.

Please don't post unless you KNOW the answer.

Over the past couple of months I have been looking at this website almost every day for new posts and phones that plan on coming out and I have been looking at the forums. It would be a great help to all of us at phonescoop that UNLESS you KNOW the answer FOR CERTAIN about a question, don't post your answer. I am not saying that I know the answer to all questions or queries but neither do all of you. Try keeping your answers as clear and concise as possible, therefore, making it easier for the person asking the question to get the correct answer for his/her question. Please reply to this post with any comments you all might have. Have a great day.

"Selective" Vision

I have noticed that sometimes I cannot get to local WAP sites I have bookmarked --"Communication Error" etc -- while national sites like CNN or Yahoo! come in fine. Anyone else have this? Any ideas?

Discount on 2x treo 600 at store vs amazon

I am hoping to buy two treo 600's this week and get the 2000 min plan with business connect. I noticed that amazon has the phone for 399 vs the store by me for 449. I approached the manager and he became outright unfriendly and said he had no flexibility. In my view I am making a 24 month commitmenment for over $3700 and the store should be motivated to have the business with them not at amazon. Maybe I a wrong, can someone PLEASE tell me what type of control local store managers have on this item. By the way they had 8 treo 600's in stock.

Thank you in advance for the help 😕

Sprint PCS $100 plan

Last month I signed up for the sprint plan with 2000 minutes for 2 phones for a $100. The Sprint Rep told me that I would get unlimited mobile to mobile, vision with readylink and unlimited nights and week-ends. Now that I got my first bill, there is an extra charge of $20 for readylink on the second phone??? I called sprint and the rep told me that you have to pay extra for the second phone's readylink? Has that happend to anyone or is that true???Thanks
