New info on the Sony Ericsson T608
It WILL be coming out before christmas, BUT don't get all excited. you still may not be able to purchase it.. I was told it was being released by Telematics only for release in the new 2004 Lexus' and will not be available in retail stores... Sprint is not really wanting to release Bluetooth on thier handset, because you can use the phone as a modem WITHOUT the cables.. They are real stuck on this PC/Latop crap.

Tried the Ready Link today
I tried the RL today and it is pretty cool. I only took about 5 seconds to connect (connects via Vision, doesn't use minutes). Once connected, there was a 1 to 2 second delay in voice transmission. The Sanyo 7200 is basically the 4900 in a different shell but with RL added. I was told that the 4900 could be upgraded to handle RL. I guess Sprint and Sanyo didn't go that route.

SMS Service With Sprint ! ! ; )
As we all know.. sprint text messagening uses WAP..I heard that Sprint is getting SMS..Also on Phone Scoop it shows that the new sanyo's have Text Messanging(SMS) Capabilities... Does this mean that SMS is coming very soon..? Any1 with a new sanyo... Can you do SMS Messanging..? Any1 having any word on that..?

I am going to switch from ATTWS (GOOD RIDDANCE) back to Sprint pcs. What do i go about doing? I expect they are going to make this as difficult as possible.

WLNP and Phonebook Transfers
Sprint is trying to have sync software available by Nov 24th to transfer phone-books from competitors phones to SPCS phones at retail stores in an effort to make the transition easier for the customer. 🙂

PTT Phone and Launch Information (Brand New)
I was just talking to a Sprint rep and he said that PTT is due to launch on Nov. 24. He also said that there would be 5 phones:
Sanyo 5400
Sanyo 7200
Sanyo 5500
Motorola v60x
Samsung v1660
He said that the phones instuctions and programming info was already in the system, and that they were all marked coming soon. He did not know if they would all be released at the launch, but that he thought that they would. I do not work for Sprint, but I have been a user for 4 years. I have no reason to lie. Believe me if you wish.

More and more sprint is doing something everyday. Today they billed my mother $80.00 for a new service agreement (1 year contract). She is already a customer and she just let her old contract run out. Her new monthly bill would be 35.00. Well I told her to call sprint and find out why they billed her $80.00.
Well now we cant get through to sprint, why? Because they only open from 9a-9p central standard time now.

and in the week they close at 1a.

My parents are decided that they want to change from Sprint.......Only problem is is that from Oct. 3rd mommy entered into another contract for a year....
Is there anyway she could get out of it by paying less than the $150.00 termination OR just get out of it period???!!! What are the options.....I know it supposed to hold firm but like anything there are ways around it...

the v60 is coming to sprint, even though it's not a new phone, it does have a great new look and since this was my all time favorite phone at one point i wouldn't mind having it again with sprint. 😁

Anyone have a Sanyo 6400? And is it worth trading up from 6200, I had probs. with downloading ringers and images. Sprint is supposedly sending me a Sanyo 6400 to replace 6200 because of download issues Ive had. 😎
