Re: Activating phones
they are compatible with older cricket markets.
many new cricket markets are triband or AWS only, meaning if your phone does not broadcast on the 1700 MHZ frequency, it will not see the network at all.
very few phones are compatible with this. somewhere in the 10-15 range i believe.
Re: (Motorola V551) Need key strokes to copy contacts from phone to SIM card
should probably mention carrier...alot of motorolas have varying menus depending on carrier.
Re: opera mini
the only phone i've been able to successfully install opera mini on is the z6. stupid rokr.
Re: Smaprtphones for Metro PcS
you do know that a blackberry curve would cost you 569.99 on MetroPCS or Cricket, correct?
bluetooth, eh?
so am i being retarded or is there no way to use the songs i've bluetoothed as ringtones? just curious.
Re: i dont think so
i guess i could also add that i'm about 80% sure my phone has no issue, it's a service issue.
massive phone issue, grounds for ETF waive?
So i have a q9, been with sprint for about 2.5 years now. Renewed in April.
Yesterday, i learn i've been missing text messages (and apparently many phone calls, but i can't recreate that part) from a handful of business partners.
Bottom line is, i missed out on about 15 sales. Enough to pay for the ETF, six months of service and a round of beers on my current sero plan.

cricket mobile video
Just got it put on my employee plan today and i'm mildly impressed.
it's not streaming, and it's not TV
there's a collection of 150-200 videos that you download to your phone. Download speeds aren't incredible but usable.
videos are decent quality. Selection is...eclectic
overall i'm happy
Re: Samsung Messager R450
in this case, it keeps costs low.
both MetroPCS and Cricket (the carriers with this phone) are no contract companies. meaning no phone subsidies. you pay full retail for this phone at both carriers.
that dollar difference is enough to justify.
Re: Us Cellular has already had this?
cricket is not an MVNO, FYI
Re: How much time do you really need?
nah, probably not even fines at this point.
Re: How much time do you really need?
this is not for their analog services. sprint did the same thing every carrier did and warned about disconnects, offered discounts, then cut phones.
this is for spectrum that is close or blended with public safety frequencies such as emergency response and police agencies.
Sprint made an agreement i believe two years ago to vacate this frequency block in exchange for 1900MHZ and some nextel frequencies/contracts. They've continued to delay due to the massive logistics of the change.
Re: samsung r500 T9??
FYI, i work at cricket in oklahoma and we have the flash file to repair the t9 and take care of the freezing issue on some handsets. if you're with alltel i'm not sure if they have the update. just sayin.
