I'm wanting to buy my brother a new phone. Moto E for $150 or Moto G for $180. Both new models. Is the G worth paying more? He lives in Peru, but comes back to the states once a year for about 2 months. I could use some advice.

agree, i am good friends with a verizon sales guy here in sc, he told me about the same thing you did about the comparison between att's 3g network & verizons evdo network...he says att's is waaaay better.

This is super awesome! I switched to U-verse last year when they brought it to SC. Was very happy to leave Charter Communications. This is definitly a great move for AT&T, and even smarter if it is a free service/app for their users. Just imagine showing buddies how you can watch recorded tv free of charge without any additional harware cost...a great way to boost your referrals AT&T!

Why would anyone get Verizon if they don't want data? Consumers can purchase Page Plus unlimited for $40 (no taxes or fees) and have the SAME network? Why would Verizon even offer unlimited plans without data?

The only reason I'm switching from my iphone is because I want Google Voice. The integration of the dialer & texting is incredible with android for GV. Most of my calls will be with the GV number so I really need unlimited. So why won't sprint give the employee discount for the 99.99 plan but will for the 89.99 one?

That stinks. I'm debating getting the t-mobile unlimited plan with my touch 3g...monthly price would be $85 - my employee discount + tax (their loyalty plan). Or Sprints unlimited with the hero for $100 plus tax. I really want the hero, and don't like the my touch...

No I haven't attempted to add the google voice number to my account. The AT&T statement clearly states that the unlimited voice works with landline & mobile numbers only. I have been with AT&T since 2003, but am waiting for an HTC sense phone to be released with T-Mobile. I want an android phone because it is so much more compatible with Google Voice. I'd love to see each carrier have a more affordable unlimited plan.
