Employee discount with Sprint
I've heard that I cannot get my employee discount with the unlimited $99.99 plan, is that correct?

That stinks. I'm debating getting the t-mobile unlimited plan with my touch 3g...monthly price would be $85 - my employee discount + tax (their loyalty plan). Or Sprints unlimited with the hero for $100 plus tax. I really want the hero, and don't like the my touch...

why don't you get the 900 everything data? It is 89.99 but you can get your employee discount. It includes the any mobile any time so if you call alot of cell phones it could be as good as the unlimited.

Thanks for your reply amirageldy.
The only reason I'm switching from my iphone is because I want Google Voice. The integration of the dialer & texting is incredible with android for GV. Most of my calls will be with the GV number so I really need unlimited. So why won't sprint give the employee discount for the 99.99 plan but will for the 89.99 one?

from what I have been told it is already the "perfectly priced" plan so it is not discountable. The 89.99 has limited minutes and they allow discounts on limited minute plans (price at or over 39.99/mo). Who knows why they make the rules they make. 🙂

From what i was told you cant discount the unlimited talk on t-mobile either, and also on t mobile, you don't get free TV or free GPS. so if you do add in the 7 dollars for GPS and 4.99 per channel for each TV channel sprint still is cheaper.

On any of the everything data plans the data and sms services are unlimited. With addition of anymobile anytime your minutes (450, 900, and unlimited) are only used durint daytime hours monday thru friday when speaking to landlines. If you are going to mostly use GV that would only be using data not your voice mins so... I would recomend 450 data at $69.99 (your employee discount would come off this) You would only use minutes for landlines during the day and data and sms would be free.
