I haven't noticed any call quality differences, but the ringers on the 8830 are very low. Much louder on the 8130.

Try removing the battery for 10 seconds...this worked for me.

Try turning Mass Storage support OFF

Ever since I turned this feature off, my memory has not leaked...you can do this by going to Options -> MMS.

I would say over all, the BlackBerry is the KING for email, and the Voyager may give you the best internet browsing experience out of all the Verizon phones currently out...It really depends on what you like to do more...text/email, or browse the internet. I was told the same thing at ALL of the VZW stores around me...one of the sales reps told me that "because of limited inventory, we can only sell this phone w/ contract, not at full retail". Kinda ridiculous...

Commission shouldn't be an incentive to lie to a customer...Do these employees value VZW as a company or understand future impact? There should be a connection that lying to a customer today may result in increased commission today, but hurtful in the long run to both VZW and their wallets. You must be that moron I spoke to at the Verizon store...I am shocked that natural selection hasn't eliminated you from Earth yet. If you are not that moron, you sound like a perfect fit for a VZW sales job...go get em!

I saw the i760...I am interested, but I am waiting for the VX6800 before I buy my next phone. The Voyager looks nice, but I want/need something that can sync with Oracle Calendar...this is my biggest gripe with the BlackBerry.

The craziest thing a Verizon rep (corporate, mind you) told me was that "BlackBerry runs on Windows Mobile 6" I looked at him like he was an idiot and kindly continued playing with the phone. Who trains these people? Jeez! 8O

I went to my local Circuit City and asked to play with the "demo" model...Don't get me wrong, this is an AWESOME phone, but for some reason, it didn't "wow" me. I used to own the EnV and traded it in for the BlackBerry 8830, but I am not sure this was the best move...There is something about being "always reachable" that has started to stress me out. I love QWERTY phones, so I am looking for one to ...

Wow, what a mess of a phone...it should be called the Serecaca...8O Most luxury hotels these days (at least all the ones I've stayed in) include an ipod music dock (iHome) in their rooms... I guess this phone is for low level executives who want to walk around with a phone that looks like a ladies shaver.
