Re: Many other markets have network problems.
Their network in Houston is horrible. I guess other cities are way down the line. What a joke this company is. Can't wait for Verizon to get the Iphone.
Re: Just fix the network!
Yes, I agree. Their network is lousy. I can't even use my iphone inside my house. The truth hurts.
Rip Off
How can they get away with ripping off the consumer like this? Selling 3G phones and not being able to provide you with 3G service. Obviously they have the FCC in their pocket.
Supports 4gb micro sdhc
Another plus is that the N76 supports the 4gb micro sdhc cards.
Re: A2DP support listed on Nokia USA
cti sells the unlocked version.
Re: A2DP support listed on Nokia USA
I think it is on the unlocked versions.
Re: Google Maps and GPS
Download the one for N73 OR N76.

Re: Google Maps and GPS
Yes. Any bluetooth receiver will work.
Re: Google Maps and GPS
The Nokia smart2go works just fine on the N75.
Re: Garbage
So far I am really impressed with my red N76. The biggest improvement is that Nokia increased the ram on this phone. No more lag!
Re: Garbage
Just got my red N76 today. Phone looks beautiful and feels very solid.
Re: Software version number
Only way to close the music app is with a third party app like Handy Taskman.
Re: Software version number
Go to settings>device manager. It has the software version there.
Re: A2DP support listed on Nokia USA
Unfortunately ATT has blocked their version from being recognized by NSU. The only way we are going to be able to update is if ATT comes out with an update and offers it OTA.
Re: Anyone have email setup for AOL email account?
When you delete from phone it deletes the email but not the header. I am not sure about retrieving a deleted email on your account. I never checked on my yahoo account.
Re: N75 and GPS Nav?
I am not sure what folder it is in. Someone said private folder? The map will be there when you open the app. Just connect your gps receiver via bluetooth and your set.
Re: N75 and GPS Nav?
Yes. You need to open the application once before maploader will recognize the phone. You don't need to use it just open it. I think it asks you to accept license agreement.
Re: N75 and GPS Nav?
You have to download and install the maploader software to your pc. Then connect your phone to your pc with the data cable and download whatever map you need to your memory card.
Re: N75 and GPS Nav?
I installed the smart2go app from Nokia and downloaded the map I needed with the maploader software. Works great.
Re: My N75 Has Shipped!!
RM is for the region I think. Not sure what they did different either. I got mine when they first came out and haven't had any problems with it at all.
Re: My N75 Has Shipped!!
I am curious as to whether they updated the firmware? mine has V10.1.273
You can check your firmware version by typing *#0000#
What version does yours have?
Re: My N75 Has Shipped!!
My favorite theme from that site is Nokia Fire.
Re: My N75 Has Shipped!!

Re: What apps have you installed on your N75?
Installed font magnifier today. Pretty neat app.
Re: Anyone have an A2DP update?
It will have to come from ATT because NSU is not going to recognize the N75.
What apps have you installed on your N75?
So far I've installed Best Profiles,HandyTaskman,HandyAlarm,MobFinance and MWeather.
Re: WHATS YOUR BATTERY LIFE UP TO?
I'm getting 1 1/2 - 2 days.
Re: Anyone Have Any Suggestions ...??
Have you tried changing this setting:
MENU, SETTINGS, CONFIG. , CONNECTION , Then go down to Packet DATA. Then change packet data conn. from WHEN AVALIABLE, to WHEN NEEDED.
I am not sure if this will improve your situation but it's worth a try.
Re: how to turn off 3g
It stands to reason that the battery life would increase. The data connection was always on with the default setting.
Re: how to turn off 3g
Some people on Howard forum have reported a dramatic increase. I only changed my setting yesterday afternoon so too early to tell for me.
Re: how to turn off 3g
Actually this doesn't turn it off. It just keeps it from being on all the time. Being on all the time is what was probably causing the excessive battery drain.

i havent tried cause i dont have one yet, but please do let me know if this works.
thnks in advance
It works. Thanks
Re: phone review
My only disappointment with the phone is that Nokia didn't increase the ram. They apparently did on the N76. Other than that it is a great phone.
Re: Battery Life: A Concern
I don't think you can turn off the 3G. Battery life on this phone has not been a problem for me.
Re: 6290
The 6290 uses a different battery so it should be better.
Re: How about?
Just tried it. No noise on mine.
Re: High pitch noise?
I don't have any noise on mine.
