Any detectable difference between AT&T and T-Mobile versions?
I can't seem to find a simple direct answer to this question. I switched to TM and bought an unlocked refurbished S7 SM-G930T. I hated the service so I went back to AT&T. The phone seems to be fine operating on AT&T's network as far as I can tell. Opinions vary widely in searching for an answer online. Can I get some facts here?
I really don't want to take a loss on this phone ...
Re: Jan 9th questions
I guess I'm too slow to understand that answer...
Jan 9th questions
I'm a longtime VZW customer but I have a vacation home in Alltel territory. 0 bars on my phone.
After the deal is closed will I get a signal on my Verizon phone immediately or after some time? Likely time frame? Days...weeks?
And will I need to first go have my phone updated?
Re: Scheduled Verizon/Alltel closing date........
How long after VZW closes the deal before I get bars in the rural areas Alltel covered? Is this an "instant" change or a long process?
Re: Is the phone worth to use over $200 headphone as for MP3 to get the best quality?
The real limit is the format. Save your $200 'phones for listening to CDs. MP3s are extremely compressed and worthy of maybe $50 'phones, max.
Re: 2.5mm jack adapter
Thanks...I'll keep an eye on it.
Re: 2.5mm jack adapter
I searched for it and got 0 results. How did you find it?
Re: Which memory card to buy for A950?
I had no luck finding a trasflash card (larger than 128) ANYwhere locally. I was shocked to learn I could buy it at the Verizon store for $69 for the 512 and they would ship FedEx to my door in 2 days. Sold!
Re: ringers
What, you've never paid a quarter for air at a "service" station?
Or a buck for bottled tap water?
Re: MP3 Playback Speed Issue and Skipping..
I couldn't find a transflash card anywhere so ended up ordering direct from Verizon. Good price, actually. While there I bitched that it's a little hard to evaluate a phone in 15 days when the accessories aren't available. I haven't received the card yet so I'm in the same boat you are. I hope it's an easy fix.
Re: How do I get to my pix & flix?
Thank you--that is a little counter-intuitive. I thought the GIN menu was for "getting", not viewing.
Re: How do I get to my pix & flix? Somebody must know...
Was my question just too stupid?
How do I get to my pix & flix?
Looks like the only way to view my pix & videos is to 1st turn on the camera or camcorder. THEN you see the My Pix or My Flix link. Is that the only way? (other than pulling the card to access by pc)
Re: ringers
I'm pretty old-fashioned and have never been very impressed with songs launching off people's hips. Always used a plain old 'ding a ling' ringer. This Samsung doesn't even come with that basic traditional ringtone. The 10 or so preloaded midi files are lame and sure won't impress anyone. I thought the idea--from Samsung's viewpoint--is to sell phones.
Re: holster or belt clip?
I did get the accessory package. And like my old 4400 the leather holster will never see any use. The plastic clip is thinner and easy-access. I guess I will just patiently wait til the container of accessories arrives from Taiwan. They must have put the phones on a faster boat! They wouldn't release a new product into such a competitive market without having all the 'peripherals' available, would they?
Re: VERY IMPORTANT! News about Bitpim for our phones!!!
I tried a couple mp3 files and they sounded nasty. Is this the source or the freebie conversion? I'm wondering if I shouldn't expect great sound quality from a .mp3 to .mid conversion...?
Re: holster or belt clip?
No belt clip, no charging stand, no accessories at all. And almost no ringtones. Pay more, get less
